BongobTrust is a not-for-profit, non-governmental organisation formed in 2011 by a small group of people with backgrounds in engineering, agriculture, economic development and social work... BongobTrust is about developing a model for people and communities to build peace and overcome poverty especially in rural Africa while adapting to an evolving climate and world order... We believe that in a majority of poor communities - scarcity occurs in the midst of local and unexplored abundance. That is why our approach to combat poverty largely rests on actions that tend to develop and promote growth from locally available resources. Poverty manifests itself in the same way across most of Africa.
