A lifelong love of learning led me to the financial industry. I was often found strategizing personal finance topics with friends and family and began reading and researching for these discussions. This led to months of studying to obtain my Securities licensing and a degree in Economics from the University of Oregon.
I am an Oregonian, though I grew up in Indiana and Michigan. I'm happily married to Ian (who spends a few days a week helping out at the office) and we have two sons, Abraham and Owen, and an energetic rescue-doodle named Apple. I enjoy reading, being outdoors in good weather, camping in our R-Pod, meeting new people, snorkeling and scuba diving in warm climates, catching up with friends, and playing cards and games with my family.
Ian has been the internal support lead at our office since 2020 with any assistance behind the scenes, recordkeeping requirements, and other tasks to keep things running smoothly.
He enjoys time with his two sons and getting in some rounds of golf.
I was born and raised in Eugene, Oregon. Both of my parents were teachers, who then became two of the early Independent Financial Advisors in Eugene.
I received my Bachelor's Degree in Education from Oregon State University. After a few years of teaching, I made a career change and joined my parent's office. I was fortunate to have them as wonderful mentors. Helping others was my destiny.
In addition to my Registered Principal Series 24, General Securities Series 7, Combined States Series 66 and Municipal Securities Series 51, I hold an Oregon Life, Health And Variable license. For over three decades I have listened and built long standing relationships with clients and their families. Through comprehensive, compassionate assessment I help to develop strategies for realizing dreams.
Giving back to the community is important to me. I am a member of the Relief Nursery Board of Directors and a Eugene Area Chamber Of Commerce Member. I support numerous organizations typically those that focus on children, such as: The Relief Nursery, Bethel Education Fund, KIDSPORTS, Oregon Trail Council BSA, The Shedd, Eugene Ballet Company and the U of O Duck Athletic Fund.
