Alexander Topchy is the Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary of Broad Street Realty, Inc. During his nearly 30 years spent in commercial real estate, Mr. Topchy has gained experience in all facets of commercial real estate, including construction, development, asset management, financial analysis, financing, and investing. His experience spans many property types, from datacenters, self-storage and office buildings to residential condominiums, multifamily rental, and retail centers. Mr. Topchy has been involved with Broad Street since the beginning, helping to evaluate acquisition targets and secure growth capital, and most recently helping to navigate the transition from a small privately-owned firm to a public company. Mr. Topchy has served as the Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary of Broad Street Realty, Inc. since 2019. Mr. Topchy served as the chief financial officer of Broad Street from 2009 to December 2019, and as Vice President of Finance from 2006 to 2009. Prior to joining Broad Street, from 2003 to 2006, Mr. Topchy was Vice President of Finance at EastBanc, Inc., a real estate developer based in Washington, D.C., engaged in repositioning high-street retail properties and developing ground up luxury residential condominiums. While at EastBanc, Mr. Topchy coordinated with foreign financial partners, investors, and lenders, and performed financial feasibility studies for all of EastBanc's real estate investments. Prior to EastBanc, he worked as a Senior Financial Analyst at Core Location, LLC, performing financial analysis for development projects, including two major technology centers. Mr. Topchy began his career at The Clark Construction Group, where he gained experience in project management and contract negotiation. Mr. Topchy has an M.B.A. in Finance and International Business from the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business, and a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Cornell University. He is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society Washington, D.C., and has been a CFA Charter-holder since 2004. Mr. Topchy previously served as a director from 2016 to 2019 as treasurer from 2017 to 2019 for the CFA Society Washington, D.C., Board of Directors.

Aras Holden

Aras Holden joined the Broad Street team in March 2012 and has been involved in the acquisition or disposition of assets exceeding $185 million. As VP of Acquisitions and Asset Management, Aras both sources and analyzes acquisition opportunities and leads the repositioning efforts of strategic investments. His responsibilities include modeling debt and equity scenarios, negotiating key leases, and leading the due diligence efforts for acquisitions. Additionally, Aras assists with investor relations and works closely with the property management and leasing teams to enhance value across the Broad Street portfolio. Aras Holden has been an integral member of the Broad Street team since 2012. In his current role, Aras works closely with the executive team on investment strategy and is responsible for sourcing and underwriting acquisition and development opportunities. Additionally, he oversees major development projects including Midtown Row midtownrowwilliamsburg.com, Broad Street's first mixed-use property. Previously, Aras fulfilled an asset management function where he led the repositioning efforts of several key properties and focused on developing best practices across the portfolio. Aras began his career at Costar as a research associate before joining Broad Street.

Joseph Bencivenga

During his tenure there his team originated over 75 high yield, mezzanine and bridge loan transaction and acted as lead or joint lead on over twenty. In 1999, one of these transactions was awarded IFR's European High Yield Deal of the Year, Euromoney Deal of the Year and received a Highly Commended Award from Corporate Finance Magazine. During Mr. Bencivenga first 18 years of experience working in the Investment banking industry he spent his first 13 years working at Salomon Brothers and Drexel Burnham. Mr. Bencivenga served as Head of High Yield Research at both Drexel Burnham in the late 1980's and Salomon Brothers in the early 1990's. For two years Mr. Bencivenga also served as Deputy Head of Equity Research at Salomon Brothers. His duties included managing the company's development/construction team in the delivery of 2,500,000 square feet of projects over a two-year period and participating as a key member of Core's acquisition and due diligence team.
