In the countryside of the Bohemian Paradise, the family company ELKOVO Čepelík originates in 1990. Shortly after the establishment of the company, it specialized in fluorescent luminaires production, both surface mounted as well as luminaires for false ceilings, fitted with a special louvre , which directs the light and prevents glare. Since 2000 it also produces luminaires with optical diffusors in IP-54 and IP-65 protection. Since 2009, the production of luminaires has progressively changed into LEDs, nowadays the company offers a complete assortment of LED lighting fixtures. In 2013 there was a change to ELKOVO Čepelík, s.r.o. and currently the company employs approximately 90 employees. It has a wide machine park and its own paint shop. All operations in the manufacture of luminaires are done in Elkovo and therefore the production is very flexible. When developing new luminaires it uses its own laboratories and the experience gained from years of production and exhibitions..
