Amy Clawson

Amy began her career in architecture and design, with a forward-thinking perspective on the relationship between environmental design, culture, and productivity within an office. When BSSP acquired SF Interactive in 2003, Amy led our Talent and Experience Team and built a unique way to maximize people, space and collaboration. She remains our voice of innovation on how to attract and retain great talent. Amy also serves as a roundtable member of national independent agencies that create industry strategies for attracting and retaining talent.

Jake Bayham

Jake is responsible for leading strategy development across BSSP's multiple lines of business. His background includes athletic apparel, QSR, technology, automotive, hospitality, and CPG experience. Most notably, Jake led the strategic development and launch of new brand platforms for Reebok and Chipotle, helping reinvigorate the brands for today's consumers. His passion for consumer insights and creative problem-solving drive his strategic approach and love for marketing. Jake lives in Mill Valley with his wife and child and enjoys surfing in his free time.

John Butler

John is the Co-Chairman and a founding partner at BSSP. In 1990, John met partner Mike Shine at Chiat/Day and moved west for jobs at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners. There they met Greg Stern, and in 1993 opened BSSP, a full service independent creative company in Sausalito, CA. John is a former One Club president, he regularly speaks at the One Club Creative Directors conference, and his work has been recognized by Cannes, The One Show, D&AD, Effies, and the Clio's. He sits on the Cartoon Art Museum Board and resides in the Bay Area with his wife and two children.

Kerri Stumpo

Job Titles:
  • Cannes Lion - Winning Media Strategist
Kerri is a Cannes Lion-winning media strategist with 13 years of experience across CPG, QSR, Financial Services, Travel, and Entertainment. With a knack for marrying media and creative to win the hearts and minds of consumers, she has been recognized for her work on iconic brands such as SC Johnson, JetBlue, and Viacom. Before joining BSSP, Kerri led integrated media strategy at Omnicom for McDonald's largest U.S. business unit, successfully launching the brand's most important new product line in 2021.

Lauren Trojan

Job Titles:
  • Business Development Director
Lauren is an accomplished business development professional with over fifteen years experience in the industry. She's worked for a variety of ad agencies from large to small including McKinney, CP+B, Vladimir Jones, Sterling-Rice Group, and Fortnight Collective. Some of her most notable client relationships include Hotels.com, Jimmy Fallon, Infiniti, Slimfast, Bolthouse Farms, P&G, PetArmor, Ulta, Crocs, and Suja. She has a passion for finding the right clients that will benefit from BSSP's unique Outside In perspective. Lauren lives in Boulder, Colorado where she loves to ski, bike, and climb with her husband.

Mark Yee

Mark heads up the Account Management team at BSSP where he brings over 27 years of marketing communications experience from working in both agencies and dot com startups. Having worked in agencies of all sizes, he has been able to work with a wide range of clients that includes Pepsi, Diamond Foods, Diageo, Red Lobster, Hilton, Tesco, JCPenney, Tailored Brands, Integris Heart Center, KB Home, and 20th Century Fox. He provides a holistic view of marketing communications with experience leading the development of traditional advertising as well as promotions, merchandising, product innovation, digital marketing, store design, and packaging.

Patrick Kiss

Patrick's career spans 30 years and multiple continents having worked for leading multinational agencies in New York, Australia, Hong Kong and London. Patrick joined BSSP in 2003, escaping the agency holding company world. Patrick believes there are foundational elements in this business likely to never waver: always do right by your clients; cultivate an inclusive environment where people can do their best work; small and nimble always beats bureaucratic and plodding. Patrick is a board member of Larkin Street Youth Services, an organization committed to eradicating youth homelessness.

Sinan Dagli

Sinan is a home-grown BSSP-er, starting as a Junior Designer over a decade ago and now co-leads BSSP's creative department. In that time, Sinan has led work for NBA2K, ESPN, MINI, Uber, Priceline, Blue Shield of California, Columbia Sportswear, and FootJoy. Sinan's work has been recognized at The One Show, ADC, Effies, and Addys. He was chosen as one of Adweek's Top 100 Creatives and a top 50 creative by MediaCat in his native country of Turkey. Alongside his advertising career, Sinan is an entrepreneur and a brand builder, being part of three successful startups globally.

Thomas Simmons

Thomas leads Finance and Operations at BSSP, focusing on fiscal responsibility and strength, operational excellence, and positive impact. His career has taken him coast-to-coast across investment banking, public accounting, and corporate development for organizations big and small. A few years ago, he chased a dream to make an award-winning documentary film. His belief in the human spirit and appreciation for the creative process drives his ability to impact the organization positively. Thomas lives in the Bay Area with his wife and two children and enjoys golf in his free time.

Tracey Faux-Pattani

After 20 years of working with radically different companies in nearly every major ad market with teams across 84 countries, Tracey's greatest skill has become adaptability. She brings a balanced perspective and knowledge gained from helping brands like IBM, Unilever, Levi's, Pandora, and PlayStation adapt in a world of constant change and digital disruption. She also serves as a member of the 4As Maximus Forum, a group of independent agency leaders that are working to innovate and adapt industry models to better serve clients.

Trina Arnett

With 30 years of experience in market research and analytics, Trina is responsible for developing and leading the Marketing Science function at BSSP. Her career has included work at agencies of all sizes, as well as work client-side, vendor-side, and even teaching at the university-level. She developed and led the Analytics departments at Crispin Porter & Bogusky and Mullen, prior to launching and running her own analytics consulting agency (trinalytics, LLC) for ten years. Throughout her career she has worked in a wide variety of verticals, including clients such as Microsoft Windows, Fidelity Investments, LendingTree.com, Old Navy, Best Buy, Sirius XM, Beam Global, United Airlines, MetLife, and the Beef Industry Council. Trina lives in sunny Colorado with her musician husband, daughter, and two spoiled dogs.
