Mr. Cato is a Harvard and Duke educated finance and real estate attorney, he focuses on all aspects of investing in and managing multi-family housing.
Mr. Cato found his calling early, closing real estate deals as an intern at the Harvard Legal Services Center. He honed his craft at the international law firms Latham & Watkins and Sheppard Mullin. Before joining The CONAM Group, Michael was a partner in the commercial real estate firm Crosbie Gliner Schiffman Southard & Swanson (CGS3).

Mr. Singh is president and chief executive officer of CONAM and is responsible for all aspects of The CONAM Group, including the planning and execution of overall strategy and also leading the investment, operational and financial activities of the company. He is actively involved in maintaining existing client relationships and developing new capital and fee management relationships for the company. Additionally, Mr. Singh oversees the day-to-day administration of the company through the financial reporting, asset management, legal and human resources functions. Prior to 2015 Mr. Singh was the senior vice president of the Investment Group for 18 years and acquired over 16,000 multifamily units throughout the U.S. His responsibilities included originating, structuring, underwriting and completing investments in multifamily assets using a variety of investment structures. In addition, he was responsible for identifying and maintaining relationships with institutional capital sources for direct investment or joint venture relationships. Prior to joining CONAM in 1996, Mr. Singh was vice president of acquisitions for Citicorp Realty Investment Advisors and The Boston Company. He has over 35 years of real estate investment experience. Mr. Singh is an Executive Committee member of the Board of Directors of the National Multi-Housing Council. He is also an active member of the Urban Land Institute and is a Policy Advisory Board member for the University of San Diego Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate, and serves on the Building Industry Association Presidents' Council. Mr. Singh received a Bachelor's degree in economics and business management from the University of California, Irvine.
Mr. Svatos is Chief Operating Officer of CONAM. He and Mr. Singh jointly direct overall strategy for the company's real estate investment and property management platforms. As Chief Operating Officer, his responsibilities will include the day-to-day operations of CONAM including accounting, information technology and human resources. He continues his prior responsibilities as the company's chief financial officer responsible for the financial strategy of CONAM, including structuring and negotiating joint ventures with private and institutional capital sources, sourcing and negotiating debt financings, income tax planning, treasury management and maintaining CONAM's commercial banking and credit relationships. Mr. Svatos is also the President Registered and Principal of CONAM securities, Inc., the broker/dealer responsible for CONAM's investment offerings. Prior to joining CONAM in 1988, Mr. Svatos was the chief financial officer of AmeriStar Financial Corporation, a nationwide mortgage banking firm with annual Loan originations in excess of $2 billion. From 1984 to 1986, he served as chief financial officer of Sko-Fed Mortgage Corporation. He began his career in 1979 at Ernst & Whinney in Chicago. Mr. Svatos holds a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from the University of San Diego and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois.
