Operating his own construction company for 38 years, David has recently established his consultancy business. David Fabish operated his own construction company, David Fabish Ltd for 38 years until recently when he established his consultancy business. Over the years, he has trained many carpentry apprentices, most of whom are now running their own building businesses. David has served 11 years on the BCITO Board where he is currently serving as the Deputy Chair. Since early 2018, he has served on the Licensed Building Practitioners Board. He spent 10 years on the Registered Master Builders Association Board and was the National President for two years. For the last two years, he has been a judge in the House of the Year competition and has previously won national and regional awards himself. David has been awarded Life Membership to both the National and Taranaki Registered Master Builder Associations. David is passionate about industry training and raising the standards of workmanship and productivity in the construction sector.

She then managed business-led change projects in sustainability including a key national response proposal to improve the performance of the existing housing stock. This work highlighted the need to ensure our workforce has the skills and capabilities to implement lasting change and improve productivity and performance. Heather's recent work and support of the construction sector has focused on workforce initiatives designed to align vocational education with industry and community needs.

Her team is responsible for the Learner Management System, E-learning and content development, as well as Electricity Supply Pathways and qualifications. Additionally, she serves as the Project Manager responsible for a Regional Apprentice Contract and a Trade Cadetship. Mackenzie's deep connection to her iwi is an important aspect of her identity, and she proudly affiliates with Te Rarawa, Ngāpuhi, Ngāti Whātua, Ngāti Pikiao, and Ngā Ruahine. Throughout her journey, Mackenzie has faced numerous challenges, each offering valuable opportunities for learning and growth. Pamela Bell brings experience in: architecture research (MArch, ‘Kiwi Prefab' book + exhibition), Olympic-level sport (snowboarding at Winter Olympics, Japan), business entrepreneurship (PrefabNZ Inc, Fruition Apparel Ltd, NZ Snowboard Academy Ltd), and governance (Urban Plus, MBIE BAP, BRANZ, Mt Vic Hub, Snow Sports NZ). She founded the peak body for innovative construction, PrefabNZ, in 2010 from her Master of Architecture thesis ‘Kiwi Prefab', and handed over the reins in 2019 when offsite construction reached a ‘tipping point' of awareness for central government, the construction industry and the public consumer alike. Today, Pamela is an independent Innovation Consultant, specialising in the built environment, growing start-ups and future-focused governance to clients around the world. She has been the lucky recipient of a number of awards throughout her career, most recently the Victoria University of Wellington Alumni Award (2019) and an honorary appointment as Adjunct Professor (2020).
