Farshad Ghanei received his BSc in Electrical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, and MSc from State University of New York at Buffalo. He defended his PhD in Computer Science and Engineering in 2019 under supervision of professor Karthik Dantu, in the area of operating systems and embedded systems. He was awarded "Graduate Dean's Scholars Award" from Liesl Folks, Dean of School of Engineering and Applied Sciences in 2013, "Best poster Award", and "Best Graduate Leadership Award" from the CSE department in 2017, and "Graduate Teaching Award" in 2019. He was the instructor for CSE421/521 Introduction to Operating Systems course in Spring 2019. Outside work, he enjoys playing games and outdoor activities. He has a Black Belt Dan III in Nearu Martial Art, and teaches self defense.

Yuyang Chen was born in GuangXi, China in 1991. He received his B.E. in Electrical Engineering from State University of New York at Stony Brook in 2014, and M.Sc. in Electical Engineering from State University fo New York at Buffalo in 2016. He started his Ph.D. program in Computer Science and Engineering in June 2016. Since then he has been working under the supervision of professor Karthik Dantu, in the area of Robotics, Micro-Aerial Vehcles and Artificial Intelligence.
