We have had some requests as to how to care for your carving to enjoy it for many years to come. Because they are carved in raw wood they may crack. We try to use dry wood and relief cut when we can but because of the natural drying process of wood it is inevitable. Keeping the carving inside your home will accelerate this process because of the dry heat. Cracks can be filled and refinished and we would be happy to quote these repairs should you need them. We coat all of our outdoor pieces with a spar varnish. This can be found at your local hardware store. You can re coat after a year or so without any need for sanding or further preparation. This goes for the painted pieces too!... Some of the pieces in our gallery page have sold, however, we are up for any requests or suggestions for custom work.
