Mr. Atul Jaggi is the Deputy Managing Director of Gabriel India, overseeing the operations of the Dewas, Nashik, Hosur, and Sanand plants. Atul has an experience of over 22 years, during which he has worked in several core functions like maintenance, supplier development, corporate quality, and manufacturing excellence. Atul joined ANAND Group as Graduate Engineer Trainee for Stallion Shox in 1999. Over the years, he has played a vital role in various initiatives, including the initiation of the Quality Circle journey to improve people's engagement in Gabriel India plants. He is also a member of the Group Quality Council that works on culture-building through implementation of ANAND House of Quality Culture framework across the group. Under his leadership, Gabriel TWBU has grown significantly and has won various customer accolades and recognitions at global and national forums. He is also a director on the Board of Haldex India. Atul is a graduate in mechanical engineering from the Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology and has a post-graduate diploma in business administration from IMT Ghaziabad. After an excellent tenure as the group's Chief Executive Officer for 11 years, and a sterling 44-year career at ANAND, Mr. Deepak Chopra has retired as the Group CEO on the 15th of January 2021. Deepak has now joined the Group Supervisory Board (GSB) of ANAND with effect from the 16th of January 2021. He is the Chairman of the Operations Committee, as well as a Member of the Personnel Committee of the GSB. He also plays an advisory role in partnership relations and legal affairs. Further to this, Deepak is Co-Chairman, Joyson ANAND Abhishek Safety Systems, a joint venture with Joyson Safety Systems, USA. In addition, he chairs the group's Ethics Committee. Deepak also has a role of mentoring certain key management personnel. He also oversees the group's philanthropic wing, the SNS Foundation. Deepak has held various positions in key industry bodies including serving as a member of Steering and Executive Committees of the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA) and Chairman of ACMA Northern Region. Deepak is a Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary and has been recognized as an outstanding alumnus of the Advanced Management & Leadership program of the Oxford University, UK. He began his career at ANAND in 1976 as a management trainee and has held various positions of increasing responsibility over the years. Mr. Deepak Chopra, Group CEO, heads the executive management structure at ANAND. A trustee of the Deep C Anand Foundation, Deepak chairs the ANAND Executive Committee and ANAND Management Committee besides overseeing the entire operations for the Group and key corporate functions including human resources, finance, corporate strategy and stakeholder relationships. Deepak is also the Executive Chairman of Spicer India Private Limited, a prestigious JV with Dana Holding Corporation of USA. He also chairs the Boards of Mando Automotive India Private Limited and Takata India Private Limited and a few other ANAND companies. A veteran with >40 years of leadership experience at ANAND, Deepak is a chartered accountant, company secretary and an alumnus of the advanced management course, Oxford University, UK. He began his career at ANAND in 1976 and has held various positions of increasing responsibility over the years. After heading the Finance function at Purolator India, ANAND corporate headquarters, Perfect Circle Victor and Gabriel India, Deepak took on the responsibility of handling new projects and operations and successfully established the large sized and thick walled bearings project in 1993 with a German partner BHW, then part of Federal Mogul Corporation of USA. He was subsequently appointed COO of Purolator India (the current MAHLE ANAND Filter Systems) between 1994 and 1996, after which he moved to Chennai to establish and head ANAND's operations in South India with three new joint ventures: Mando India for brake systems with Mando of Korea, Arvin Exhaust India (currently Faurecia Emission Control Technologies India) with Arvin Meritor, USA originally and now with Faurecia, France and Valeo Friction Materials India with Valeo, France. In 2002, Deepak took over the role of Group CFO at ANAND corporate headquarters where besides overseeing finance, treasury and legal functions of the Group, he was also responsible for mergers and acquisitions and overseas partner relationships. Mr. Jaisal Singh is a Director of the Group Supervisory Board, the apex governing body of the ANAND Group. Thereafter, he signed a JV with the luxury hotel group Aman Resorts to set up the first Aman in India, which culminated in the opening of Aman-i-Khas also in Ranthambhore. In 2009, along with Anjali his wife, they expanded SUJÁN with the opening of The Serai, Jaisalmer. Sher Bagh and The Serai have been consistently acclaimed globally as being among the best hotels in the world by a series of international rankings and were the first few hotels in India to be accepted as members of Relais & Ch teaux; an association of the world best hotels, hoteliers and grand chefs. In 2011, SUJÁN went global by partnering with Cheli & Peacock for Elephant Pepper Camp, situated within the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya. The camp has played a key role in the Mara North Conservancy which has added 77,500 acres of protected area to the Mara ecosystem. Jean-Louis holds key positions on Boards of various organisations and bodies including Vice-Chairman of the France-China Committee, Vice Chairman of Seoul International Business Advisory Council (SIBAC), Chairman of the Strategic Committee for Waste Processing and Recovery (CSF) and Special Advisor of Accuracy, a large French consulting firm.
