Andrew has more than 30 years experience working in the IT arena. Andrew started his career in the security industry developing hardware and software for government and private contracts, and for the past 20 years he's worked in the financial sector for companies such as Xansa, Barclays.
Bill is a Chinese national and has a degree in Computer Sciences and Applications. He has worked for IBM China holding positions of both senior software engineering manager and global technical support manager for their predictive analytics software division.
He is a very experienced project & resource manager specialising in project quality control and management, establishing optimization processes and evaluation mechanisms, quality control, resource management and planning.
Paula is a registered psychologist with over 25 years' experience specialising in sleep, fatigue and shift work. She has provided consulting services to a wide range of corporate, government and community organisations, undertaken leading scientific research, and operated a clinical practice for individuals experiencing sleeping problems.
Her expertise is centred around undertaking fatigue risk assessments, developing policy management and procedures and training. She has a degree in Psychology and Fatigue Sciences.
Hannah is the youngest member of the team and looks after our creative design and media development.
Ian Thomas has over 30 years as a senior business professional. He started his career initially as a communications engineer within the telecoms industry before moving into international sales and marketing.
Ian is the Managing Director of Fatigue Management International which he founded in 2008 in order to develop and market the ASTiD driver fatigue technology. He is a certified Change Management practitioner as well as being Black Belt Six Sigma trained and is responsible for the overall strategy of FMI.
Jim is Technical Director for FMI but also holds a Research Fellowship position at the University of Liverpool's Department of Electronics & Electrical Engineering. Jim has overall responsibility for the FMI technology strategy, development and R&D programmes.
Jim has several published papers to his credit and specialises in C/C++ languages and Java Embedded Systems as wells as PCB design and digital acquisition systems. He holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and Electronics.
Michael has been a part of the FMI layout for 2 years now. He graduated from the University of Liverpool with a degree in marketing in 2016. Since joining the team, Michael has led all marketing activity, in addition to working closely with Ian on commercial objectives. His previous roles have been recognised with national awards in marketing and advertising.
