FTBA - Key Persons
Ananth joined the team in 2017 and leads the association after spending 5 years in private sector and 22 years with the FDOT where he most recently served as the Secretary. In addition to advocating for FTBA's interest in the Florida Legislature, he is available to assist members in matters relating to their contract with FDOT and other public sector clients.

Angela is the newest member of the team. She joined the FTBA staff in 2023 and currently works closely with our Membership and Events Manager in implementing FTBA's events and providing services to new members. As she settles into her new role, Angela will begin working on projects that will further FTBA's scope of services and provide additional benefits to our members.

Cynthia joined the team in 2016 and handles all accounting responsibilities. She is available to assist you with all invoice questions as well as dues billing. In addition to the Association finances, she manages the FTBA TransPAC and FTBA Scholarship accounting and invoices related to contributions and reporting. She also maintains contact with our Scholarship winners and reviews future distributions.

Heather joined the team in 2020 and is responsible for the Association's website, database, email and newsletter distributions, and member portal management. Additionally, she works with our publisher to provide print and digital advertising opportunities to our members.

Additionally, Stacy is responsible for the coordination of all FTBA hosted events throughout the year. Vince Hafeli, president, Ajax Paving of Florida, is leading a national campaign to promote awareness of suicide and mental health wellness in the construction industry. He presented his "Suicide in Construction Awareness Proclamation" February 7, 2023, at the FTBA Construction Conference, and collected signatures from industry leaders.
