Education
Abigail Boyd is an attorney at Simon & Simon, PC, where she concentrates her practice on personal injury litigation. Ms. Boyd represents victims injured in motor vehicle collisions.
Attorney Boyd is originally from the Philadelphia area and received her Bachelor of Science from The Pennsylvania State University majoring in environmental science. Thereafter, she attended Florida State University College of Law in Tallahassee, Florida.
During her time in law school, Ms. Boyd worked as a law clerk at Hopping Green & Sams and as a legal intern for the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.

Adam Sorce is an attorney at Simon & Simon, P.C., where he concentrates his practice on personal injury litigation, focusing on motor vehicle accident and premises liability cases. Prior to joining Simon & Simon, P.C. in 2024, Adam was a Shareholder at one of the largest insurance defense firms in the country, where he worked for 20 years. There, he focused his practice on defending large corporations against catastrophic injury claims. Recognizing that he had no passion for defending corporations and insurance companies, he decided to switch to the Plaintiff's side, where he uses his extensive knowledge and experience from the defense side to help injured people.
Adam graduated from Franklin & Marshall College, with degrees in Government and English. He attended law school at Case Western Reserve University in Ohio, where he worked for three years before returning home to the Philadelphia area.
Adam was honored as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer Rising Star for five straight years, from 2012- 2016. He has several published cases in Ohio and Pennsylvania at the state and federal levels. He has published articles and taught a Continuing Legal Education class to other attorneys. He also serves as an arbitrator in Montgomery County, where he has assisted in the resolution of many cases.

Amanda L. Nese is an attorney at Simon & Simon, PC, where she focuses her practice on personal injury litigation. Ms. Nese represents victims in all manners of injuries including motor vehicle accidents, falls downs, medical malpractice and wrongful death claims. She joined Simon & Simon, P.C. after practicing at an insurance defense firm in Pittsburgh. She previously held internships at plaintiff and defense firms, as well as the Allegheny County Conflict Counsel's Office.
Ms. Nese grew up in Johnstown, Pennsylvania and graduated Cum Lade from La Roche College where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice. She later earned her Juris Doctorate from Duquesne University School of Law. Ms. Nese resides in Penn Township with her husband and son.
She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, and the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
Andrew Baron is an attorney at Simon & Simon, P.C., where he concentrates his practice on personal injury litigation. Mr. Baron represents injured victims in car accidents, fall downs, wrongful death claims and medical malpractice law suits. He was recently named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2015.
Prior to joining Simon & Simon, P.C., Mr. Baron was an attorney for a well-respected multi-county medical malpractice defense firm, where he vigorously defended the interests of physicians, nurses, hospitals, and other medical professionals. Additionally, Mr. Baron has done extensive pro bono work with Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania.
While attending the Widener University School of Law, Mr. Baron was a member of the Widener Health Society. During his time there, Mr. Baron also interned with the Widener Law Veterans Clinic, where he conducted research and provided case evaluations for veterans previously denied benefits by the Veteran's Affairs Regional Office. In addition to earning his Juris Doctor degree, upon graduation, Mr. Baron was also presented with a Health Law Certificate, with Honors.
Mr. Baron is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He has extensive trial experience in both State and Federal Court.
Anthony J. Canale concentrates his practice on representing individuals who have been injured as a result of automotive, premises, and general negligence. Mr. Canale represents his clients through all stages of litigation, up to and including trial and appeals. Immediately prior to joining the firm, Mr. Canale was in-house counsel for Chubb Insurance where he defended high net-worth individuals and large corporations in negligence actions.
Mr. Canale began his practice handling various insurance related disputes with a focus on handling of unique insurance coverage disputes. He has significant experience handling insurance coverage disputes and defending uninsured/under insured motor vehicle claims. He then practiced commercial and bankruptcy litigation for a boutique firm in Southern New Jersey. There, he defended corporations in contract, negligence, FINRA, and shareholder dispute litigation.
Ashley Henkle is an attorney at Simon & Simon, P.C., where she concentrates her practice on personal injury litigation. Ms. Henkle is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Prior to joining Simon & Simon, Ms. Henkle worked for the Allegheny County Office of Conflict Counsel, where she vigorously litigated and negotiated for individuals throughout all stages of the criminal process. During her time in law school, Ms. Henkle worked as a certified legal intern with the Allegheny County District Attorney's Office. In that role, she prosecuted victimless crimes in the Phoenix Court program, and took cases to bench trials under supervision.
As a life-long Pittsburgh native, Ms. Henkle graduated from Slippery Rock University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and a minor in Mathematics. Ms. Henkle later earned her Juris Doctor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. As a student, she participated in the Murray S. Love Trial Moot Court Competition and earned the J.G. Civil Litigation Certificate.
Brian F. George is an attorney at Simon & Simon, P.C., where he concentrates his practice on personal injury litigation. Mr. George brings over twelve years of litigation experience to the firm. Prior to joining Simon & Simon, PC, he was a senior associate at an insurance defense firm in Philadelphia where he focused exclusively on litigation, including car accident, products liability, premises liability, military defense and commercial litigation matters, and tried many cases successfully to verdict.
Mr. George served as a Judge Advocate (JAG) in the United States Air Force where he prosecuted and defended military members accused of crimes and practiced law in a variety of areas, including the defense of personal injury claims against the government. He is certified as an Arbitrator for the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. Mr. George's practice areas include car accidents, fall downs, wrongful death, products liability, and medical malpractice claims.
Mr. George is a native of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania where he also attended King's College, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree with majors in accounting and economics. He later earned his Juris Doctorate at Temple University Beasley School of Law where he participated in the nationally-ranked Integrated Trial Advocacy Program and interned for the Honorable John R. Brittany Sturges is an attorney at Simon & Simon, P.C. where she concentrates her practice on personal injury litigation.
Prior to joining the firm as an attorney, Ms. Sturges was employed with Simon & Simon, P.C. where she focused on working with client relations. She worked full time, while attending law school in the evening.

Carleigh Baldwin is an attorney at Simon & Simon, PC, where she concentrates her practice on personal injury litigation. Ms. Baldwin represents injured victims in car crashes, dog bites, slip and falls, trip and falls and wrongful death claims. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Baldwin worked as a litigation attorney handling personal injury cases, nursing home neglect litigation and medical malpractice litigation.
Originally from upstate New York, Ms. Baldwin graduated from Assumption College in Worcester, Massachusetts before pursuing her law degree from New England Law | Boston in Boston, Massachusetts. Ms. Baldwin is a member of the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys.

Charles (Chad) Williams concentrates his practice in personal injury litigation, particularly where a serious injury is sustained. Since 2013, Chad has represented hundreds of individuals, companies, and organizations (both large and small) in various manners of state and federal casualty and commercial litigation. He has negotiated multi-million dollar settlements and is always looking to achieve the best result for his clients, in whatever form that may take. Chad was designated a Rising Star in Pennsylvania's Super Lawyers magazine in 2019, 2020, and 2021.
Prior to joining Simon & Simon, P.C., Chad was a commercial litigator at a large Philadelphia firm where he advocated on behalf of businesses and individuals in contractual, environmental, criminal, and real estate matters. Before that, he practiced at a regional insurance defense firm. These experiences provide him a unique insight into the potential pitfalls of a personal injury case. He often draws from these experiences to achieve the maximum recovery for his clients.
Christopher Burruezo is an attorney at Simon & Simon, P.C., where he concentrates his practice on personal injury litigation advocating for clients injured in motor vehicle accidents and fall downs.
Prior to joining Simon & Simon, P.C., Mr. Burruezo was an attorney for a well-respected insurance defense firm, where he defended clients in motor vehicle accidents, fall downs, and construction defect cases. He also served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Robert P. Becker, Jr., J.S.C. in the New Jersey Superior Court, Gloucester County.
Mr. Burruezo received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Maryland King Carey School of Law where he was the Assistant Symposium Editor of the Journal of Business and Technology Law and a member of the Alternate Dispute Resolution team. He resides in South Jersey with his wife and daughter and is an avid Philadelphia sports fan.

Christopher Green is an attorney at Simon & Simon, P.C. where he concentrates his practice on personal injury litigation. Prior to joining Simon & Simon, P.C., Mr. Green served a one year term as a fellow at Rutgers Law Associates Fellowship Program. He also held an internship at a litigation firm in New Jersey and served as a judicial intern for the Assignment Judge (now Justice) Lee A. Solomon of the New Jersey Superior Court of Camden County, as well as the Honorable Robert G. Millenky.
Mr. Green is a native of the South Jersey and Philadelphia areas. In 2016, he graduated from Rutgers School of Law. During law school, he served as an Associate Managing Editor for the Rutgers Journal of Law and Religion and participated in a number of pro bono projects to assist residents of the area. He was also a member of the Hunter Moot Court Appellate Advocacy Program.
Prior to law school, Mr. Green graduated cum laude from the Honors College at Rutgers University in Camden. He was a member of the Political Science National Honors Society and the Rutgers Athaneum Honors Society. Christopher J. Boyle is a trial attorney at Simon & Simon, PC where he now uses his more than two decades worth of experience as a trial lawyer to represent people who have been injured due to the negligence of others. Chris began his legal career in 2001 as a trial attorney in the property subrogation group for one of the largest law firms in America headquartered in Philadelphia, where he tried cases for major insurance carriers, individuals and businesses in a wide variety of matters. Chris then became partner at a boutique litigation firm in Philadelphia where he focused on transportation liability, premises liability, construction accident, products liability, aviation liability and commercial litigation matters.
Chris developed and managed the firm's emergency response accident team to mobilize experts and investigators in situations where his clients were involved in major accidents requiring immediate response. Chris then became the Chief Trial Attorney for a captive law firm in Philadelphia where he handled the largest exposure cases involving people who sustained catastrophic personal injuries including devastating bodily and traumatic brain injuries.
Chris graduated from St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia in 1993 with a degree in food marketing and was employed in the food and pharmaceutical industries. While working full time and starting his family, Chris received his law degree from Temple University School of Law in 2001. Chris has been licensed to practice in the state and federal courts in Pennsylvania and New Jersey since 2001. He has also been admitted, on a case-by-case basis, to handle cases for clients in a variety of other state and federal jurisdictions.
Chris is a Delaware County native where he resides with his family to this day. When not practicing law, Chris enjoys golfing, fishing for trout and striped bass, and being a Philadelphia Phillies season ticket holder.

Dan Ward is an attorney at Simon & Simon, P.C. where he concentrates his practice on personal injury litigation. Mr. Ward works with Michael J. Soska, Esquire on cases where clients sustained serious injuries. Since starting with Simon & Simon, Mr. Ward has achieved multiple six-figure settlements for injured victims.
Prior to joining Simon & Simon, P.C., Mr. Ward practiced at another prominent Philadelphia law firm where he dealt with matters including traumatic brain injuries, construction accidents, toxic torts and medical malpractice. Additionally, Mr. Ward volunteers with the Glaucoma Service Foundation at Wills Eye. The focus of this volunteer work is to end preventable blindness in Philadelphia.

Joshua Baer is an attorney at Simon & Simon, P.C., where he focuses his practice on personal injury litigation. Since 2001 Josh has represented over one thousand individuals, companies and organizations in all manners of state and federal casualty litigation, and he has successfully tried hundreds of cases before judges, juries and arbitration panels. He is a graduate of Temple University Law School where he participated with distinction in the school's Integrated Trial Advocacy program. He received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Labor and Industrial Studies from Penn State University in 1993, and first worked as a Pennsylvania certified real estate appraiser before and while attending law school. A life-long resident of the Philadelphia area, he is a product of the Philadelphia and Cheltenham school districts, and is a graduate of LaSalle College High School.
Kane Daly is an attorney at Simon & Simon, P.C. where he concentrates his practice on personal injury litigation. Prior to joining Simon & Simon, P.C., Kane worked at a Philadelphia law firm handling Social Security Disability and Veteran's Benefits appeals in Federal Court as well as Workers' Compensation appeals in the Administrative Court system. Katherine J. Rice is an attorney at Simon & Simon, P.C. and focuses her practice in personal injury litigation. Prior to joining Simon & Simon, P.C., Katie worked at a Philadelphia law firm as well as a firm in a suburb outside of Indianapolis, Indiana. Katie gained experience in a broad range of practice areas, including commercial transportation and major fatality motor vehicle accidents, worker's compensation matters, family law disputes, immigration cases, and premises liability.
While in law school, she interned for the Honorable Anne E. Covey of the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania. Mackenzie Bince is an attorney at Simon & Simon, PC, where she concentrates her practice on personal injury litigation. Mary G. McCarthy is an attorney at Simon & Simon, P.C. where she concentrates her practice on personal injury litigation. Ms. McCarthy brings over fourteen years of litigation experience to the firm.
Prior to joining Simon & Simon, PC, she was a senior associate at a well-respected boutique insurance defense firm in Philadelphia where she focused exclusively on litigation, including car accident, bad faith litigation, first party medical payments coverage, and military justice matters. Ms. McCarthy has tried many cases to verdict.

Matthew J. Zamites has been a member of the Pennsylvania Bar since 1998 and brings over 12 years of litigation experience to Simon & Simon,PC. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Zamites served as a senior litigation association in a major regional insurance defense law firm, and has conducted many successful jury trials. In addition, he is a certified Arbitrator for the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. His areas of practice include motor vehicle accidents, premises liability (slip-and-fall cases), commercial vehicle accidents, rental car liability, and insurance bad faith.
Michael Simon has tried many jury trials and prosecuted numerous appeals since he commenced his legal career in 1971.
Initially, he was a commercial litigator with Berger & Montague, representing plaintiffs in securities and antitrust class actions. From 1978-2006, Mr. Simon practiced on his own as a litigator, concentrating on plaintiffs' motor vehicle, premises liability, product liability, and medical negligence actions. He obtained a $3,300,000 settlement in a tire defect case, a $1,500,000 settlement in a tractor-trailer accident case and six figure jury verdicts. He served as a Judge Pro Temp and arbitrator for the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.
Mr. Simon is a lifelong Philadelphia resident. He graduated from Tufts University magna cum laude and received his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania law school. Following law school, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable C. William Kraft in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Mr. Simon is active in the community, serving on the Board of Directors of Golden Slipper Club & Charities and having been honored by Jewish Adoption Foster Care Option (Jafco).
Nicola Serianni concentrates her practice in personal injury litigation, particularly where a serious injury is sustained. Since 2009, Nicola has represented hundreds of individuals, companies, and organizations (both large and small) in various manners of state and federal products liability, casualty, and mass tort matters.
Prior to joining Simon & Simon, P.C., Ms.Serianni represented Plaintiffs in class action and complex litigation where she represented individuals with claims against Zantac, Xarelto, Juul, PFAS/PFOS water contamination, Deepwater Horizon/British Petroleum Oil Spill, Chinese Drywall Manufacturing and various other products liability cases. She also represented individuals in Catholic Priest Abuse cases. Prior to working in private practice, Ms.Serianni clerked for Judges Richard B. Klein and Anne E. Lazarus in the Pennsylvania Superior Court. Ms.Serianni is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar and New Jersey bar and licensed to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Is a first generation American, her father is from Jamaica and her mother is from Scotland and because of her diverse background appreciates that everyone has a unique story that should be told. She currently Chairs the Whitpain Township Human Relations Committee.
Nicole V. Hatton is an attorney at Simon & Simon, P.C. and concentrates her practice in personal injury litigation. Prior to joining Simon & Simon, P.C., Ms. Hatton was an associate at an insurance defense firm based out of Philadelphia, where she focused on litigation, including automobile accidents, slip-and-falls, and first party medical payments coverage. She also investigated first party claims concerning mysterious disappearances of luxury items.
Ms. Hatton began her legal career at a boutique real estate law firm in Marlton, NJ. She then worked as an associate attorney at a small general practice firm based out of Kennett Square, PA, where she represented clients in a variety of areas of law, including family law, personal injury, minor criminal matters, and civil litigation. During her time with this firm, Ms. Hatton served as a mediator for the Chester County Court of Common Pleas handling custody disputes. Rachel M. Rosenfeld joined Simon & Simon in 2023. She spent the first 14 years of her career as a defense attorney representing self-insureds and national insurance companies at prominent firms in the Philadelphia area. Rachel then transitioned her career to become a personal injury attorney at Simon & Simon, where she uses her experience with the defense bar to provide zealous advocacy for victims of motor vehicle and premises accidents.
Rachel is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar and New Jersey bar and is licensed to practice in both state and federal courts, including the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey as well as the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, Middle District of Pennsylvania, and Western District of Pennsylvania. She has been awarded numerous honors during her career including being named a Rising Star by Pennsylvania Super Lawyers every year from 2018 through 2021. Rachel has also authored/co-authored numerous legal articles for local and national publications.
A native of Cheltenham, Pennsylvania, Rachel earned her undergraduate degree from Syracuse University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She then obtained her law degree from Widener University in Wilmington, Delaware, where she served as Articles Editor of the Widener Law Review.
In addition to representing clients at Simon & Simon, Rachel volunteers at the Support Center for Child Advocates, where she represents abused and neglected children who have been declared dependent by Philadelphia's Department of Human Services. She also serves as an arbitrator on behalf of Philadelphia's Compulsory Arbitration Program, where she has helped decide countless civil cases.
Outside of work, Rachel enjoys spending time with her husband and two children at their home in Delaware County.
Roman Galas joined Simon & Simon in May 2021. After 12 years at a Philadelphia-based litigation boutique defending businesses of all sizes across the country, including service as core trial counsel for an international motor carrier and regional counsel for an elevator/escalator manufacturer, Mr. Galas shifted his focus. He now brings his unique wealth of experience and insight to bear seeking justice for injured victims of motor vehicle crashes and premises accidents.
Mr. Galas began his legal career with a 2-year clerkship in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, with Magistrate Judge David R. Strawbridge. He has regularly performed pro bono service on behalf of less fortunate members of the community and was the coordinator of his prior firm's entry to the EDPA Pro Se Prisoner Civil Rights Panel.
Mr. Galas has received a number of accolades from peers in the legal industry. He has been named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Star every year since 2013. In 2012, he was named by the Legal Intelligencer as one of 35 "Lawyers on the Fast Track" in the Commonwealth. During law school, he interned with the Center for Disability Law and Policy, and served as lead student counsel for clients in Immigration Court as a member of the Farmworkers Legal Aid Clinic. He earned his bachelor's degree in economics, with a management concentration, from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a kicker for two Ivy League Championship football teams and kicking coach for a third, and a member of the JV basketball team.
He is proficient in Polish and is a member of the Villanova Inn of Court. Since 2013, he has served his residential communities as a member and President of two different Homeowners' Associations. He was team captain of championship-winning Lawyers League basketball and softball teams, and recently became a two-time Ironman triathlete (Mont-Tremblant and Lake Placid).
Ryan Flaherty is an attorney at Simon & Simon, P.C., where he focuses on all aspects of personal injury litigation. Mr. Flaherty represents injury victims for accidents including slip and falls, motor vehicle accidents, and premises liability cases. Ryan joined Simon & Simon, P.C., after several years of insurance defense and products liability litigation.
A lifelong native of the Pittsburgh region, Mr. Flaherty grew up in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania and graduated Cum Lade from John Carroll University where he studied History, German Language, and Modern European Studies. He thereafter attended Duquesne University School of Law where he was admitted into the nationally ranked trial advocacy program and interned with Senior Federal Judge Donetta Ambrose.
Ryan is admitted to practice throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and in the Federal Western District of Pennsylvania.

Sam Gangemi is an attorney at Simon & Simon, P.C. where he concentrates his practice on personal injury litigation. Prior to joining Simon & Simon, Sam worked as a prosecutor in both Philadelphia, and in Arapahoe County, Colorado. While in law school at the University Of Denver Sturm College Of Law, he was on the National Trial Team and was President of the Student Trial Lawyers Association. Since graduating, Sam has volunteered to coach various mock trial programs, and is currently a Coach of Temple University's National Trial Team.
Sam is a native of the Jersey Shore, growing up in Ocean County, New Jersey. He attended Temple University where he graduated from the School of Tourism and Hospitality with a degree in Recreation Management. Sam is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Sam Reznik is an associate attorney at Simon & Simon, P.C. where he concentrates his practice on personal injury litigation.
Prior to joining Simon & Simon, Mr. Reznik has gained heavy litigation experience by clerking for a Los Angeles Superior Court Personal Injury Judge, representing victims of consumer fraud in negligence and Lemon Law matters, defending clients in securities disputes, regulatory investigations, and compliance matters, and prosecuting criminal defendants with the Los Angeles District Attorney's Domestic Violence Unit.
Originally from Los Angeles, California, Mr. Reznik attended college at Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science & Urban Development, and a Master's Degree in Community Development & Planning. Mr. Reznik received his Juris Doctorate degree from Pepperdine University School of Law in Malibu, California. While attending Pepperdine, Mr. Reznik was President of Pepperdine's Micro-Enterprise Program, which helps underprivileged members of the Los Angeles community find gainful employment and launch micro-businesses.
Mr. Reznik is a member of the Brandeis Law Society and Philadelphia Bar Association.
