Adam Belfer is a Managing Director of H.I.G. Realty Partners. Adam is located in the Los Angeles office and is involved in all aspects of the investment process, including sourcing, transaction structuring, financing, and post-closing execution.
Prior to H.I.G., Adam was in the real estate leveraged finance group of Wachovia Securities (now Wells Fargo Securities) in Charlotte, NC. While at Wachovia, Adam focused on the origination and execution of $6 billion in private and publicly-traded homebuilder and syndicated development financing.
Adam graduated with a B.B.A. in finance from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University.

Before joining H.I.G., David was a Managing Partner at Coventry Real Estate Advisors, an investment fund manager with $2.5 billion of real estate assets across the United States. Prior to Coventry, David was a Managing Director in Citigroup's real estate investment banking group. Previously, David was at Goldman Sachs from 1989 to 1992.
David earned a B.S. from Lehigh University and an M.B.A. from New York University. David is a Council Member of the Urban Land Institute.

Before Thor Equities, James was responsible for the M&A team of Atrium European Real Estate, where he was responsible for acquisitions and disposals throughout the European portfolio of 3 billion. Earlier in his career, James worked for Goodman and Europa Capital in various transaction and asset management roles.

With over 20 years in the real estate industry, Riccardo has extensive investment and transactional experience across a number of jurisdictions in Europe. Prior to H.I.G. Capital, he was at AXA RE, where he was Head of Alternatives and Special Situations. During his time at AXA RE, he also held the position of Head of Transaction Europe and Head of Asset Management and Transactions in France. Prior to AXA RE, Riccardo worked at Grove International Partners and, before that, in the JPMorgan Partners Real Estate Group in London.
Riccardo holds an M.Sc. in Finance from Bocconi University and studied at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Richard Treacy is a Director in the H.I.G. Real Estate Fund Europe and is based in London, where he focuses on platform creation, opportunistic, and value-add real estate opportunities. He is responsible for all aspects of the investment process including origination, structuring, negotiation, and execution of transactions.
Richard works on real estate investment activities across Europe, special situations, and structured credit (preferred equity and mezzanine financings), with a focus on multiple asset classes in the UK & Ireland.
He has 10 years of industry experience across the real estate and investment banking industry, having covered a range of industries. Prior to joining H.I.G., he was at Citi UK Investment Banking M&A team working across sectors with a focus on P2P takeovers, buy-side and sell-side advisory, and corporate advisory on behalf of private equity, FTSE listed and privately held companies.
Richard holds an B.Sc. in Economics and Finance from the University College Dublin.

Rick Rosen is Co-President of H.I.G. Capital with over 25 years of private equity and M&A experience. In his current position, along with Brian Schwartz, he directs the day-to-day operations of the firm and sits on the investment committees for all H.I.G. funds.
Since joining H.I.G. in 1998, Rick has been involved in all aspects of the investment process; and has held leadership positions in several of the firm's funds.

Prior to joining H.I.G., Sam worked at Prudential Mortgage Capital Company, an investment arm of Prudential Financial that originates first mortgage debt secured by all property types across the United States.
Sam graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania in 2009 with a B.A. in Philosophy, Political Science, and Economics and a minor in Urban Real Estate and Development from the Wharton School.
Stelios Theodosiou is a Managing Director of H.I.G. Real Estate based in London. He has more than 15 years of real estate principal investment experience, employing both equity and credit opportunistic strategies across a broad spectrum of real estate asset classes across Europe.
His experience includes distressed acquisitions (NPLs and REOs), operating platforms, corporate restructurings, portfolio break-ups, property developments, and forward acquisitions.
Prior to H.I.G., Stelios was a Director with Deutsche Bank's European credit structuring & trading teams and a senior originator in the real estate direct lending business with a focus on special situations. Prior to that, he was a member of Deutsche Bank's alternative and real assets opportunistic investment team based in London.

Steve Schwartz is a Managing Director and Co-Head of H.I.G. Real Estate Credit, U.S. He is located in H.I.G.'s New York City office and is responsible for all aspects of the investment process, including origination, underwriting, structuring, closing, and oversight of the portfolio.
Steve brings over 30 years of commercial real estate experience to H.I.G., having served in multiple capacities and various leadership roles in the industry.
Before joining H.I.G., Steve was a partner at Torchlight Investors, a leading commercial real estate debt investor, where he served on its board of directors and its investment and operating committees. Prior to Torchlight, Steve spent almost 20 years at J.P. Morgan, where he ran their commercial real estate and mortgage backed-securities groups.
Steve serves on a National Council of the Urban Land Institute, the Investor Council for the Mortgage Bankers Association, and on the New York University Stern Real Estate Advisory Board. Steve obtained a B.S. in Business Administration from Boston University and an M.B.A. from New York University, graduating with distinction.
