JCM Industries was incorporated in 1976 in Nash, Texas. It started at a breakfast table when company founder, James C. Morriss, Jr. (Mr. JCM) was talking with his wife, Gladys J. Morriss (Mrs. JCM) and discussing his vision of the next generation of pipe fittings. Although recently retired from a well-established water/wastewater fittings manufacturer, Mr. Morriss was simply not ready to slow down. As a design engineer, Mr. Morriss had several product design concepts that he wanted to put into place in the pipeline industry - delivered when the customer needed them. That was the genesis of JCM. Soon they were joined by daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Ron Collins...
