Jeff Stephens - is the founder and President of J Stephens Construction, where he manages all aspects of the company, including estimating, project management and subcontractors.
His career spans 40 years, starting as a Structural Foreman and progressing as a Project Superintendent, Project Manager and Director of Construction. He has completed numerous multi-family and hotel projects for different operators throughout Florida and Connecticut, as well as retail projects, high rise condominium towers, custom homes and industrial projects. Jeff is a veteran of the US Marine Corps.
Leos Furch - is the Operations Director at J Stephens Construction, where overseas all aspects of project management, from project design, estimating through project completion.
Pete Cowden - Project management, estimating and business development are Pete Cowden's passion in commercial construction. As a team player, Pete holds an excellent track record of strong relationships with owners, architects and engineers resulting in successful construction experiences.
With a bachelor's degree in both Construction and Business Management from the University of Maryland, Pete has over 40 years' experience overseeing all phases of multi-million-dollar construction projects including commercial, hospitality, educational, restaurants, retail, telecommunications and high-end residential projects in the private, public and defense sectors. Pete also has a broad background in construction contracts scenarios, including design-build, guaranteed maximum price (GMP), cost plus fixed fee and hard bid projects.
