I have been in the workers' compensation industry for over 30 years. Through the course of my career I have worked as a workers' compensation claims examiner, claims supervisor and hearing representative for a law firm. In 2005, the passage of SB 899 took effect. I was one of the first trained and certified on use of the AMA Guidelines and rating. I transitioned from working for Third Party Administrators, Carriers and Law Firms to CEO of JV Insurance Consultants, Inc. working with a diverse group of clients including health care, educational institutions, public entities, transportation, security, growers, entertainment, technology, hotel, staffing agencies and retail employers to name a few. My desire to assist my clients with whatever tasks makes their jobs easier.
