MARIA SEIPEL

Maria Seipel (b. 1989) is a graphic designer and product designer with in-depth studies of the book format. Heart and mind is driven by curiosity for people, their/our behaviour, thus the relation to an object or subject. Interested in tweaking experiences in order to find this 'new', whether it is visual communication, an object to hold in your hand or a visit to an exhibition space... I gained my MFA in Design from HDK - Academy of Design and Crafts, Gothenburg, in 2015. My Master Thesis work Approaching the Book as Matter won recognition in two of Sweden's biggest competitions for young designers, Ung Svensk Form (2016) and Kolla! (2016).
