Alex Deardorff attended undergrad at Denison University where she played Varsity Lacrosse for 4 years and was captain her senior year.
After graduation, she attended the University of Cincinnati College of Law. While there, Alex was a fellow with The Ohio Innocence Project where she worked on investigating and filing appeals for the wrongfully convicted. During her third year at UC, Alex interned with the Hamilton County Public Defender's Office utilizing her limited license to represent Hamilton County residents charged with misdemeanors. At graduation, Alex received the award for Outstanding Clinical Student for the Class of 2015.
In 2018, Alex attended The National Criminal Defense Lawyers College in Macon, Georgia, a two-week trial school taught by the best criminal defense lawyers in the country. Each participant had several real cases and litigated them in front of the faculty.
After law school, Alex worked as a Municipal Attorney at the Public Defender's Office before moving to the Felony Division. She joined the Law Offices of Steven R. Adams in November of 2019.

In 2020 Alex was hired for a client in, Brown County Common Pleas Court, who was charged in a 9-count indictment, including engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity with firearm specifications, burglary, grand theft auto and receiving stolen property. The indictment carried over 20 years in prison. After an extensive investigation, The State of Ohio ultimately dismissed 8 of the 9 counts in the indictment. After a trial on December 21, 2021 - Alex and her client obtained a not guilty decision on the remaining charge. Justice prevailed for this innocent man.
In 2021, Alex represented a client in Domestic Relations Court in late November. The petitioner had filed a civil protection order against her client, claiming a history of domestic violence and asked the Court for a protective order that would tarnish his reputation and affect his work. Client adamantly denied this and the belief was that she was retaliating against him. After a full hearing with 6 witnesses and dozens of exhibits, we received notice the Magistrate dismissed the civil protection order, clearing her client's name.
Bill Cunningham is an attorney, former Ohio Assistant Attorney General, a radio talk show host on 700 WLW since 1983, a daytime syndicated television host, The Bill Cunningham Show seen Monday-Friday in every American city, and a business owner. As an attorney, he received the Ohio Outstanding Young Lawyer Award (1983), served as Chair of the Ohio State Bar Association/Young Lawyers Division, practiced in the Hamilton County Public Defender's Office and as a criminal defense lawyer representing hundreds of criminal defendants.
He received his B.A. from Xavier University (1970) and a J.D. from the University of Toledo (1974); he served as a Federal Law Clerk to the Honorable Don J. Young (N.D. Ohio). He is married to the Honorable Penelope R. Cunningham, First District State of Ohio.
As a radio talk show host, he received two Marconi Awards as America's Outstanding Radio Talk Show Host (2001 and 2009). Bill is annually recognized by Talkers Magazine as one of America's Best Talk Show Host and is syndicated by Premiere Radio Networks on 310 radio stations in all 50 states.

Steven Adams, age 55, passed away on November 1st, 2020 at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in Ohio. He was the loving husband of Dr. Maria Bustamante, and a caring and providing father for Ulysses Samuel and Abraham Galo. He was a self-made hard worker, wonderful husband, father, friend and colleague. Steve was born August 22, 1965 to Donald Russell Adams & Sally Diane (Nee Hrudicka) Adams, and was the oldest of two children growing up in Quincy, IL. He is survived by his wife, two children and mother; and will be missed by the professional and personal community at large. Read the obituary here.
Steven R. Adams has been in the private practice of law since 2000. Prior to establishing his own private law practice, he was an Assistant Hamilton County Prosecuting Attorney for eight years. His law practice is focused on criminal and DUI defense. Mr. Adams has been qualified to administer the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests of NHTSA through the NHTSA Student Course (2001). In addition, Mr. Adams has successfully completed training for the NHTSA DWI Detection and Standardized Field Sobriety Testing Instructor Development Training Program (2003). Mr. Adams has been deemed as an expert witness on standardized field sobriety testing in Hamilton County. He recently hosted a seminar on the Role of the Expert Witness in OVI/DUI Cases. Mr. Adams is a member of the National College for DUI Defense, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Greater Cincinnati Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the Ohio State Bar Association and the Hamilton County Bar Association and he serves as a board member for the Ohio Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Mr. Adams is also a member of the Ohio State Bar Association College. Mr. Adams received his B.A. degree from the University of Kentucky and his J.D. degree from Salmon P. Chase College of Law.
A graduate of Salmon P. Chase, College of Law in 1990, Steven R. Adams is an attorney, whose practice emphasizes the representation of individuals accused of criminal offenses. He has been in private practice since August 2000.
After law school and some time spent as a law clerk, he spent eight years working as an Assistant Hamilton County Prosecutor. Beginning in the Juvenile Division and finishing in the Felony Criminal Division, where he prosecuted adult felony cases including murder, rape and other sex offenses, drug trafficking and abuse, robbery, burglary, felonious assault, arson, felony DUI, aggravated vehicular homicide and felony domestic violence.
