At Quantum Valley Ideas Lab, we are always advancing quantum technologies from invention through to application... Ideas Lab is an independent research laboratory in Waterloo, Ontario. Our mission is to accelerate the commercialization of quantum technology for the economic and societal benefit of Canada. We pursue projects with near-term horizons, focused on significant market opportunities, offering significant performance improvements over the state-of-the-art in commercial and defence application... Ideas Lab is based in the Research Advancement Centre 2 (RAC2) in Waterloo's David Johnston Research + Technology Park. Our purpose-built Quantum Technology Lab provides strict environmentally controlled conditions with respect to temperature and humidity necessary to expedite laser-based quantum technology prototyping. The lab boasts an array of infrastructure required for free-space optical experiments and adjacent in-house fabrication and electronics facilities.
