Adam Christofferson is senior vice president and division manager with Marcus & Millichap's Southern California division.
Mr. Christofferson began his career with Marcus & Millichap as a sales assistant in 1997 and was quickly promoted to sales agent and then sales manager focusing on the Southern California retail market. He also served as a regional manager and vice president, leading several offices to multiple record-breaking years and overseeing billions of dollars of commercial real estate transactions for Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation (MMCC). In 2011, Mr. Christofferson was named director of special asset services for the Western U.S., and was honored by Real Estate Forum magazine as one of the "45 under 40" most influential commercial real estate brokers in the country. As senior vice president and division manager, Mr. Christofferson oversees offices in Southern California, Nevada, Utah and Idaho, and has led the opening of several offices in Southern California.

Andrew Strockis is senior vice president and chief marketing officer of Marcus & Millichap, overseeing all corporate marketing and branding personnel and functions. He works closely with the company's leadership and client-facing teams to gather input, design, and implement next-generation marketing tools, campaigns, and initiatives to support and execute the company's strategic plans.
Prior to joining the firm in 2021, Mr. Strockis held numerous roles across the marketing and analytics departments at Charles Schwab, where he most recently served as the retail client and product marketing leader. In this role, he partnered with senior leadership and line of business owners, helping to shape strategic outcomes, design, and execute go-to-market strategies. Additionally, Mr. Strockis served as the leader overseeing Schwab's marketing efforts for its international subsidiaries and cross-border jurisdictions. Prior to Schwab, he began his career with Accenture, where he developed extensive experience in finance, operations, and business transformation initiatives, serving as an advisor to numerous global organizations on their most pressing strategic opportunities.

Biran Patel is a senior vice president and Marcus & Millichap's National Hospitality Director. He is responsible for overseeing the firm's hospitality division, which focuses exclusively on providing investment and advisory services for hospitality, lodging, resort, marina, and golf properties. As a second-generation hotelier, he has been in the hospitality industry throughout his whole life, learning the business from the ground up while working at his family's hotels. He has been an officer of AAHOA since 2017 and was Chairman from 2020-2021. Biran earned a B.S. in finance from the University of Texas.

Brian Hosey is the First Vice President and Division Manager of Marcus & Millichap's Mid-Atlantic Division. Additionally, Brian oversees the daily operations of the Washington, D.C. and Baltimore offices.
Brian joined Marcus & Millichap in 2010 as an agent in the firm's Manhattan office specializing in the sale of multifamily assets. In 2013, he was promoted to Sales Manager, followed by another promotion to Regional Manager of the firm's New Jersey office in 2014. In 2020 Brian was relocated to Washington, D.C.

Collete English Dixon became a director in November 2021. Collete currently serves as Executive Director of the Marshall Bennett Institute of Real Estate, Roosevelt University in Chicago. She previously held various key officer and management roles at PGIM Real Estate/Prudential Real Estate Investors (PREI), which is a business unit of Prudential Financial. In her role as Executive Director/Vice President of transactions from 1996 to 2016, as co-leader of PREI's national investment dispositions program, she managed a number of real estate professionals and oversaw the sale of investment properties throughout the US. Prior to her role in dispositions, Collete was responsible for sourcing wholly owned and joint venture real estate investment opportunities covering all property types, including office, rental and for-sale multi-family, hotel, industrial and retail properties. Don C. Watters became a director in October 2013. Mr. Watters is a director (senior partner) emeritus of McKinsey & Company, a global management consulting firm. During his 28 years with McKinsey & Company, Mr. Watters served primarily Fortune 500 sized private sector clients in over a dozen different industries on issues of strategy, organization, and operations. He served on the board of directors of Merant PLC, a publicly-traded company based in the United Kingdom from the late 1990s to 2004. Additionally, Mr. Watters was on the advisory board of Cunningham Communication, Inc. Evan Denner is senior vice president for corporate strategy with Marcus & Millichap.
Mr. Denner joined the firm in 2019. As the head of corporate strategy, he develops and executes strategies aligned with Marcus & Millichap's long-term growth plan by improving the company's business model, processes and platform, as well as through the acquisition of synergistic companies and groups.
Before he joined Marcus & Millichap, Mr. Denner spent several decades in real estate and financial services in executive leadership and entrepreneurial roles. He advised the partners at Ackman-Ziff Real Estate Group, founded one of the largest student housing companies in the United States, was a senior managing director and head of merchant banking at Cantor Fitzgerald, and held several positions on Wall Street.

George M. Marcus is our founder and has served as our chairman since 1971. Mr. Marcus is also the founder and chairman of Marcus & Millichap Company, the parent company of a diversified group of real estate service, investment and development firms, including, SummerHill Housing Group, Pacific Urban Residential, Meridian Property Company and Hanover Real Estate Investors. Mr. Marcus is also the founder and chairman of the board of Essex Property Trust, a public multifamily real estate investment trust, and was one of the original directors of Plaza Commerce Bank and Greater Bay Bancorp, both of which were formerly publicly-held financial institutions. He has extensive knowledge of the Company, over 40 years of experience working in the real estate industry, and significant experience serving on boards of other public companies. Mr. Marcus' professional memberships include Real Estate Roundtable, Fisher Center for Real Estate and Urban Economics at the University of California, Berkeley and Urban Land Institute, as well as numerous other professional and community organizations. Mr. Marcus graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from San Francisco State University in 1965, was honored as Alumnus of the Millennium in 1999, and received his honorary doctorate in 2011. Mr. Shaheen currently serves as a director of NetApp, Inc., [24]7.ai, and Green Dot Corporation, along with its wholly owned subsidiary, Green Dot Bank, and previously served as a director of Korn/Ferry International, an international executive search and consulting firm until August 2019. Mr. Shaheen was the chief executive officer of Siebel Systems, Inc., a CRM software company, from April 2005 until the sale of the company in January 2006. From October 1999 to April 2001, he served as the chief executive officer and chairman of the board of Webvan Group, Inc. Mr. Shaheen was previously the chief executive officer and global managing partner of Andersen Consulting, which later became Accenture, from 1988 to 1999. Gregory LaBerge is chief administrative officer and senior vice president of Marcus & Millichap.
Mr. LaBerge joined Marcus & Millichap in 2005 as an investment broker, was appointed as a regional manager in 2008 and became national director of our Hospitality Division in 2012. During his three-year tenure as national director, Mr. LaBerge successfully grew the division to more than 50 brokers, creating the industry's largest hospitality sales team. His work establishing the infrastructure, tools and resources for the division's brokers was instrumental in elevating Marcus & Millichap's brand and industry presence.
Before joining Marcus & Millichap, Mr. LaBerge was a management consultant with Ernst & Young and Diamond Technology Partners (now part of PricewaterhouseCoopers), specializing in working with Fortune 500 firms.

Hessam Nadji has served as President and Chief Executive Officer and as a director of the Company since March 2016. Mr. Nadji previously served as senior executive vice president and chief strategy officer. He joined the Company as vice president of research in 1996 and held various other senior management roles through the years, including chief marketing officer and head of the Company's specialty brokerage divisions. He played a leading role in the Company's initial public offering in 2013. Mr. Nadji received a B.S. in information management and computer science from City University in Seattle and has over 30 years of experience working in the real estate industry.

Prior to serving as executive vice president and division manager, Mr. Parker held the roles of sales manager and regional manager in the New York Tri-State region. Lauralee E. Martin became a director in August 2019. Ms. Martin served as chief executive officer and president of Healthpeak Properties, Inc. (formerly HCP, Inc.), a real estate investment trust focusing on properties serving the healthcare industry, from October 2013 to July 2016. Prior to joining Healthpeak Properties, Inc., Ms. Martin served as chief executive officer of the Americas Division of Jones Lang LaSalle, Inc., a financial and professional services firm specializing in real estate services and investment management, from January 2013 to October 2013. She served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Jones Lang LaSalle from January 2002 and was appointed chief operating and financial officer in October 2005 and served in that capacity until January 2013. She joined Jones Lang LaSalle after 15 years with Heller Financial, Inc., a commercial finance company with international operations, where she was vice president, chief financial officer, senior group president, and president of the Real Estate group. Prior to joining Heller Financial, Ms. Martin held certain senior management positions with General Electric Credit Corporation. Mira Wolff is the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) of Marcus & Millichap. Based in the Calabasas office, Ms. Wolff is responsible for all aspects of human resources for the firm, providing leadership and innovation to the company's sales force, management, and support staff. She uses her extensive experience as a human resources executive and corporate legal counsel to build and expand productivity tools, management development programs, and educational opportunities.
Ms. Wolff joined Marcus & Millichap in 2021 from Venbrook Group, LLC, where she served as Chief Human Resources Officer and General Counsel. Prior to Venbrook, she was the Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Legal for Confie Seguros, a nationwide insurance distribution company. During her tenure at Confie, Ms. Wolff was responsible for leading and building nationwide and international human resources, building the company's first full service in-house legal department, and helping the company grow from 1,500 to 4,500 employees.

Nicholas F. McClanahan became a director in October 2013. Mr. McClanahan served as managing director of strategic relationships at Accretive Advisor Inc. from September 2010 to February 2012. From April 1971 through April 2006, Mr. McClanahan worked at Merrill Lynch & Co. in various positions including as executive vice president of Merrill Lynch Canada and managing director of Merrill Lynch Private Banking Group from 2003 to 2005. Norma J. Lawrence became a director in October 2013. Ms. Lawrence served as a partner in the audit department of KPMG LLP where she specialized in real estate. Ms. Lawrence was with KPMG from 1979 through 2012 and she was a member of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts, the Pension Real Estate Association, the National Council of Real Estate Investment Fiduciaries, the California Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Richard Matricaria is the COO for Marcus & Millichap's Western Division.
Mr. Matricaria first joined the Marcus & Millichap management team in September 2009 when he became sales manager of the Fort Lauderdale office. He was promoted to regional manager overseeing the Orlando and Jacksonville offices in January 2012 and added Tampa five months later. In 2014, Mr. Matricaria was elevated to the role of vice president, and in 2016, senior vice president.
Prior to starting his path in management, Mr. Matricaria was a sales associate for eight years in Marcus & Millichap's Fort Lauderdale office. He was instrumental in leading a team specializing in retail, single-tenant and shopping center investments, and facilitated the acquisition and disposition of approximately $500 million of investment properties throughout the Southeast.
Mr. Matricaria received a B.B.A. in marketing from the University of Alabama and an M.B.A. from St. Thomas University. He is actively involved in the International Council of Shopping Centers, the National Association for Industrial and Office Parks, the Urban Land Institute and the Best Buddies organization.

Prior to joining the firm in 2020, Mr. DeGennaro served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of InTouch Technologies, a provider of virtual healthcare solutions, and as senior vice president and chief financial officer of a publicly traded firm specializing in mobile network computing before that. He began his career with KPMG, where he helped clients prepare and execute IPOs in addition to providing other accounting services. Mr. DeGennaro has extensive experience in finance, strategic planning, operations, leadership, and merger and acquisition transactions. His heavy technology background and growth-driven CFO experience bring a new perspective and skill set to our firm's leadership team.
