Annelise Villiers is a Senior Program Coordinator at the Office of Scholarships at FIU. Annelise earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts, a certification in Social Media and E-Marketing Analytics, and obtained a Master of Science in Marketing degree at FIU. Her passion for the arts, travel, and education, as well as her professional experience in communication and marketing led her to working in higher education.
Annelise assists various FIU colleges and schools with the management of scholarships, works closely with enrollment departments, and guides students through their undergraduate and graduate careers by sharing funding, scholarship opportunities, and national prestigious opportunities for prospective and current students. Her goals include assisting students in successfully meeting their academic potential by providing them with scholarship resources.

Casey Pastor is a Senior Program Coordinator within the FIU Scholarships Office. Casey processes scholarships onto student accounts, including FIU Departmental Scholarships funded through E&G/auxiliary accounts and FIU Foundation Scholarships funded through donations gifted by donors. Casey also manages External Scholarships like scholarship checks and scholarship wire transfers, which come from private organizations outside of the university.
Casey graduated from FIU with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2017. Most recently in 2023, she earned a Master of Public Administration. She has professional experience in Financial Aid, Registration, and Admissions within FIU's higher education setting. With her knowledge and experience, she has developed a passion to continue assisting students who may be academically eligible or even in a financial crisis for Scholarships.

Emilio Jaquez is a Systems Analyst within the Office of Scholarships. In this role, he helps to provide support for the AcademicWorks platform concerning improvements that can be made to it, postings for new scholarship opportunities, and assists with any issues that users may experience. He also assists in handling query requests that are direct to the office. Emilio has received his Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from FIU.

Lisa Shrestha is a Systems Analyst I for the Office of Scholarships at FIU. Her position entails offering assistance with the AcademicWorks platform by identifying potential enhancements, sharing new scholarship opportunities, and addressing user concern. She also assists in handling query requests directed to the office. Lisa holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from FIU.
Bio
Lisa is a South Florida native and FIU Alumna who graduated in 2009 with a B.A. in Economics. She has also obtained a M.B.A. with a concentration in Finance from Nova Southeastern University. Her professional experience includes finance, consumer lending, accounting, admissions, and financial aid.
As a student, Lisa was involved in several organizations on campus: Academy of Leaders, Black Student Union, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Her experiences both personally and professionally have further ignited Lisa's passion for working with students in order to help them grow and develop through their individual experiences, which will drive their long term academic and career goals.
