In 2018, Sandpiper Lodging Trust ("SLT") was formed as the growth vehicle for Sandpiper to acquire and develop extended stay hotels. SLT was formed through the recapitalization of nine extended stay hotels from Sandpiper-affiliated funds. Since its inception, SLT has acquired twelve additional hotels from third parties. Our goal is to create a high level of recurring income and long-term capital appreciation for investors from a portfolio of extended stay hotels and to provide liquidity to investors by completing a public listing in the future...
