STEIH

The STEIH under the direction of Novartis is looking to achieve sustainable and lasting remediation of the ARA STEIH site in Huningue, France. Soil residues containing lindane will be carefully removed and then disposed of using state-of-the-art technology. The STEIH is aware of its responsibility and will ensure that the project is conducted in a safe and ecologically sound manner, monitoring clean-up operations at all times. In the future, the Alsace Rhine promenade along the river will continue across the border and on to the Tri-Countries Bridge, a project that will benefit the regional population. The project will see the STEIH under the direction of Novartis cleaning up historical contamination of the soil that was not caused by Novartis.
