Dr. Sacha Snyder

Dr. Sacha Snyder grew up in Connellsville and currently resides in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. She received an undergraduate degree from the Pennsylvania State University with a BS in Animal Bioscience and honors in Veterinary Science. Dr. Snyder earned her VMD degree from the University of Pennsylvania. As with many others in the veterinary field, Dr. Snyder knew from a very young age that she wanted to become a veterinarian. She has always loved animals and the sciences. At Penn State, Dr. Snyder did research in COX-1 and COX-2 inhibition of different NSAIDS. Prior to joining the St. Francis Animal Hospital team, Dr. Snyder practiced at Pleasant Hills Pet Hospital for 12 years and 4Paws Veterinary Care for one year. Her special interests include preventative care, medicine, educating clientele on preventative care and the care of their pet(s), and finding the best treatment for their needs. Outside of work, Dr. Snyder enjoys spending time with her family, which consists of her husband, daughter, and fur babies. They care for a dog and a few cats at home.

Jessica Addis

Dr. Jessica Addis has joined our team as of June 2022! Dr. Addis grew up in the Philadephia, PA area. She earned her undergraduate degree at Penn State University and her veterinary degree at the University of Penn. She focused her undergrad major in veterinary and biomedical sciences. Her special interests in veterinary school were working with exotics, performing surgeries and working with local shelters. She was previously employed at Moore Animal Hospital in Fort Collins, CO from 2018 to 2020, then Louisville Family Animal Hospital in Louisville, CO from 2020 to 2022. Over her past 4 years of being a veterinarian, she has taken special interest in dentistry, sonography, and working with exotic pets. Outside of work, she enjoys biking with her husband, walking her dogs and crafting. She has 3 pets at home: Boomer, a Bernese Mountain Dog, Zoey, an Aussie Doodle, and Hokie, a rabbit. Dr. Addis and her husband recently had their first child, Emma, so they have moved back to the area to be closer to family.
