The agency was formally established in 1995 by the late Jasper John Taormina and Heda A. Taormina. Jay's experience with LAGA (London American General Agency) as the previous owner triggered the birth of Taormina Insurance Services, Inc. (TISI) in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Taorminas started as captive agents of Mutual of Omaha Companies (1995) and focused on auto and home insurance products. In 1997, the Taorminas were appointed as Independent Insurance Agents with the Omaha Property and Casualty. Thus, appointments with other top carriers like Travelers, Progressive, Metlife Auto and Home and Mercury were soon obtained. We are able to also write with Hartford, Safeco and many other carriers through our Managing General Agents (MGAs)...
