The Finance Foundation is a not for profit company limited by guarantee... The Finance Foundation is an independent centre for public policy research focused on the financial services industry. It is not a sector lobby group and has no political affiliations. To preserve this independence, The Finance Foundation seeks unrestricted funding from a broad range of sponsors... The Finance Foundation aims to fill this gap by undertaking research and publicising the results to inform and influence the relevant stakeholders. In addition to research, we undertake public debates and events to help bring debates about the future of financial services into the open. Better policy decisions can lead to better outcomes for the general population as well as for specific groups, for example those excluded from mainstream financial services through poverty, disability, age, or education.
