Toast was founded in the Fall of 2013 by an entrepreneurial couple, Gili and Molly. The name Toast was originally inspired by Gili's native language of Hebrew. Toast translates to panini, which is a very popular restaurant concept in Israel, focusing on special homemade sauces to enhance the flavor of the paninis. We took the opportunity to open a cart with a cultural meaning, delicious food and unique flavors-bringing more diversity to Madison's food carts... Our Mission: Toast Food Cart provides you with the absolute best combination of delicious, fresh ingredients and homemade sauces in a hot, pressed panini.
