Anna Cyril Recto is a Hotel and Restaurant Management graduate who joined the team as a legal assistant in 2021. With over five years of experience in the hotel industry, she is well versed in all areas of both interpersonal and organizational skills. She also manages her own business and has gained extensive knowledge in web design and social media management. During her free time, Cyril enjoys working out, camping, and beach trips. Ms. Recto is an integral part of our team. Her technological skills are essential to serving the firm's clients efficiently and effectively. Her positive attitude and dedication is invaluable asset. She is continuously improving her skills and learning new and modern ways to provide the best to our clients.

Kelsea Hall

Kelsea Hall is an associate attorney at Velez Law, PLLC. Ms. Hall earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law in 2021. She graduated with the highest Latin honor, Summa Cum Laude. She was in the top 10 of her class and a member of the Brandeis Honor Society. Ms. Hall was also a member of the University of Louisville Law Review. She was published in volume 59 issue 2 of the publication. Ms. Hall earned her Bachelor of Science at Indiana State University in Political Science and Legal Studies, also Summa Cum Laude. She was the department of Political Science's distinguished senior for her class and a recipient of the University's J.D. Miller Distinguished Service Award in 2018. Ms. Hall represents clients in Jefferson County and the surrounding area. She focuses her practice in dissolution, custody, child support, domestic violence, post decree issues, de facto custodian issues, and grandparents' rights. Ms. Hall was born and raised in Southern Indiana just north of Louisville. Ms. Hall is a first generation attorney, and proud of her lower middle class upbringing. She understands the working struggles of her client's from watching her father work in a factory her entire childhood, including during the Great Recession. This perspective gives her the utmost respect for her client's time and money. In her free time, Ms. Hall enjoys coaching Color Guard at a local Southern Indiana high school and watching stand-up comedians.

Taniesa Christina Velez is the founder and principal attorney at Velez Law, PLLC. She began her career working in boutique law firms specializing in personal injury, family law, criminal law, and civil litigation in San Diego, California. Ms. Velez has participated in a range of practices areas from complex civil litigation issues to personal injury cases that left clients severely injured at the hands of companies and government entities.
