Dr Nala Sathasivan is a specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist currently working at Nepean Hospital whose special interest is in ultrasound scanning and high risk pregnancy. Her qualifications include Bachelor of Medical Science (First class Honours) and Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (Sydney University).
Dr Sathasivam completed her specialist training to become a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologist (FRANZCOG) at Nepean Hospital. Prior to this, she spent time in the UK within the field of Obstetrics/Gynaecology. During this period she obtained her Diploma of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, UK. Dr Valeria Lanzarone is an Obstetrician Gynaecologist with subspecialist certification in Obstetric and Gynaecological Ultrasound. She divides her time between her current role as the Director of the Perinatal Ultrasound Department at Nepean Hospital and as a partner in Ultrasound for Women Penrith and Hawkesbury practices.

Dr Maylene Pineda is a specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with a longstanding passion and commitment in this field. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists with Diploma in Diagnostic Ultrasound and Masters in Medicine from the University of Sydney. Dr Pineda is a staff specialist additionally trained in Maternal Fetal Medicine. Currently, she is a Clinical Lead in Perinatal Ultrasound and High Risk Clinic providing quality perinatal care at Nepean Hospital. Dr Pineda has also worked as a staff specialist in Canberra Hospital prior to settling in Sydney.
She manages a full range of obstetric and gynaecologic care with expertise in high risk pregnancies, perinatal ultrasound and gynaecological assessments. Dr Pineda is an author of several publications and a conjoint lecturer at the Australian National University and the University of Sydney, teaching medical students, resident medical officers, registrars and midwifery staff. She is also involved in the revision and implementation of hospital guidelines and clinical governance.
Dr Pineda is described as a caring person by both patients and colleagues. As a mother herself, her kind and gentle demeanour allows her to empathise with and relate well with her patients. She is married and enjoys spending time with her young family and home cooking.
Her main goal is to foster the highest level of care in women's health.

She completed her fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists after training internationally. She also has visiting rights at Westmead Hospital, Norwest Private Hospital and Sydney Adventist Hospital.

Dr Melissa Delgado is a highly skilled Obstetrics and Gynaecology Consultant. She started her career as a General Practitioner with a Diploma in Child Health from the University of Sydney. It was while working as a GP that she realised her passion for women's health and decided to specialise in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. While doing her last years of training, Dr Delgado worked for two years under the guidance of the Australian Gynaecological & Surgery Society (AGES) and Sydney West Advanced Pelvic Surgery Unit (SWAPS) laparoscopic teams and is currently completing a Diploma in Diagnostic Ultrasound at Nepean Hospital. The breadth of her experience and training has well equipped her to provide a holistic approach to patient care.
Dr Delgado is a staff specialist at Blacktown Hospital and is in charge of conducting Obstetrics and Gynaecology clinics and surgical procedures. She is actively involved in teaching RANZCOG trainees and midwifery staff. She has authored a number of publications in this field and is currently a lecturer for Western Sydney University.
Outside her work, Dr Delgado is a wife and a mother of two. She is devoted to spending time with her children, getting involved with their extracurricular activities and just being a mum. She is dedicated to her family and loves nothing more than the hours they enjoy together.

Dr Steven Joung is a specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with sub-specialty certification in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
He worked as the Head of Department of Maternal Fetal Medicine Department at Nepean Hospital between 2015 - 2022, responsible for managing a high risk obstetric team for the patients of the Penrith and Greater Western region. During this time he also worked as a Clinical Lead in Maternal Transfer Project in Nepean, Blue Mountain and Western NSW area, overseeing various regional hospitals' maternal transfer procedures and outcomes to ensure safe transfer process for pregnant women.
Steven's main area of interest is provision of specialist ultrasound and counselling services for women with obstetric complications, including ultrasound services for fertility investigation, preconception counselling, first trimester screening for aneuploidy or pre-eclampsia, invasive diagnostic testing, and tertiary scans for fetal abnormality or intrauterine growth restriction.
