Linda is a Director and Senior Mechanical Designer at V&R. Linda embodies the legacy and founding principles the firm was built on in 1973; sound engineering design, client centric service and strong documentation. She is a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers Inc. As a Project Manager, she has a diverse background in a variety of projects such as health-care facilities, post-secondary facilities, and institutional facilities.
Linda's project experience includes but is not limited to the following systems: air distribution, steam, hydronic heating, chilled water and central plants.
She is involved in overseeing mechanical projects from the early stages of project development to the final stages of completion and construction. Linda works closely with clients, to ensure projects stay on schedule and are coordinated within the disciplines. Linda is exceptionally proficient in mechanical drawings and specifications.
Linda's knowledge of HVAC systems and her understanding of the latest codes, standards, equipment and engineering practices is an invaluable resource to the rest of the mechanical team.

Naomi is a Senior Mechanical Engineer and has been with V&R since 2008. She is a PEO licensed Engineer, as well as a LEED Green accredited Associate. Naomi is a member of The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers Inc. and the Canada Green Building Council. She has over 15 years of experience in mechanical design and 10+ years as a professional Engineer. Her expertise includes the design of mechanical systems in healthcare and educational facilities. Naomi is committed to sustainable design practices in the mechanical engineering industry.
Robert is responsible for the overall operations of the firm. From Human Resources, Marketing and Business Development to Quality and Process Improvement, his goal is to ensure a satisfied client and a successful project. Robert directs the financial performance of our firm, and through strategic business planning enhances the recruiting, hiring and professional development of staff. Passionate about fostering client relationships he also possesses a strong commitment to serving the community; serving as director of property finance and risk and Vice Chair at Museum London and past Vice Chair at London Intercommunity Health Center.

Sharon Barr is a Senior Electrical engineer, Office Manager and Director of the Ottawa office. Sharon has been a licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario since 1991, and has been with the firm since 2002. Sharon's expertise includes lighting design, power distribution systems, emergency generators and life safety systems. She is a strong project leader, and excels at managing tight schedules and deadlines. As the Director of the Ottawa office, Sharon is actively involved in all M&E projects, reviews all contract documents to ensure they adhere to our companies standards, and mentors the engineers-in-training and CAD technologists in the office. Her experience covers a vast range of institutional and healthcare projects, and has a strong reputation for providing thorough studies and building condition assessments. Sharon is actively involved with the local chapter of Professional Engineers Ontario, and has held numerous executive committee positions since 2012, including Chapter Chair in 2016 and is currently Chair of the Licensure Assistance Program. Sharon is licensed to practice (P.Eng.) in Nunavut. Her volunteer activities have been focused on education outreach and engaging students in the profession. Sharon has a working knowledge of French.
