Wheaton Properties is a commercial real estate investor, developer, and property manager in Edmonton, Alberta. We own a portfolio of over 400,000 combined square feet of retail, office, and mixed-use assets across Victoria, Nanaimo, Edmonton, Regina, and Saskatoon. We are also developing a mixed-use project on Whyte Avenue that will redefine the community of Old Strathcona... Wheaton Properties is a division of the Wheaton Group. The Wheaton Group was founded in 1955 by Don Wheaton Sr., who began with part ownership in a GM dealership in Porcupine Plain, Saskatchewan. He moved to Edmonton in 1961 and grew the business to include automotive dealerships, banking, insurance, aviation, warranty, and real estate. The Wheaton Group is now a fourth-generation family-run business.
