Alison Saxby

Alison is an industry leading expert with over 35 years of experience in industrial minerals and metals. Her expertise includes pricing, deep market knowledge, research, and communications, gained through consultancy projects, minerals trading and commercial reports. Alison was recently a member of the UK government's Critical Materials Global Expert Mission to both Canada and the USA for Innovate UK-KTN, and is working with Edumine to provide educational courses on critical materials. She is the author of numerous publications on critical and other minerals and originally trained as a mineral engineer.

Andre Pienaar

Andre is a Chartered Accountant with 15 years' experience in the African mining sector in financial management and analyst roles. He is experienced in financial modelling and scenario analysis relating to project evaluation, company acquisitions and disposals, debt and equity financings and re-financings.

Brandon Tucker has over a decade of experience in the metals and mining sector. He has extensive experience in business development specialising in origination, mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, valuation, research and commodities markets.

CRAIG KRAUS - Secretary

A mining and commercial lawyer, Craig, prior to joining Pensana, spent most of his career in the legal divisions of De Beers and Petra Diamonds where he was integrally involved with both mine and company acquisitions and disposals, debt and equity financings, re-financings, capital restructuring involving debt for equity, schemes of arrangement, exploration and mining joint venture negotiations, establishment and operations.

DANNY McNEICE - CSR

Danny has experience across the ESG suite and has particular expertise in the areas of reporting and standards, risk, carbon, social and communities, climate change, and environmental risk. He leads Pensana's ESG strategy and implementation and led the development of the business' ESG strategy, the Pensana Blueprint for Sustainable Rare Earths, which outlines the business's commitment to embedding sustainability into the challenge of sourcing and supplying rare earths.

Dr Jeremy Beeton

Dr. Beeton has extensive international experience in project management over complex multi-site, multiple project operations' portfolios for national and regional government, as well as public and private companies. Dr. Beeton was Director General of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games from 2007 until 2012, and Chairman of WYG PLC and Merseylink Limited. He was also a Principal Vice President with Bechtel, an Advisory Board member of PricewaterhouseCoopers until October 2018, and an independent NonExecutive Director of SSE plc until July 2018.

Joao Castro

Nick Warhurst

Specialising in system implementations/upgrades across multiple ERP systems. He prides himself on installing best practise and driving a kaizen culture across all areas of the business. Nick leads the finance function within the UK for the group.

Paul Atherley - Chairman

Rocky Smith is a highly experienced Chemical Engineer with 35 years' rare earths experience. He was Managing Director of Molycorp's Mountain Pass rare earth project in California, US, which is now owned by New York Stock Exchange listed MP Materials.

Tim holds an honours degree in Minerals Engineering from Leeds University and leverages over 35 years of broad experience across the mining, engineering construction and infrastructure sectors, largely in Africa. Tim has served as CEO of LSE listed Pensana Plc since 2019, which is establishing an independent and sustainable rare earth processing hub at the Saltend Chemicals Park in the Humber Freeport UK alongside development of low-carbon footprint mining and beneficiation operations at Longonjo in Angola.

William Izod - Chief Commercial Officer

William Izod has extensive experience in managing and developing rare earth supply chains, including 10 years working with large multi-national companies such as Dyson, and Johnson Matthey. While on the Dyson Automotive Project he managed the Motor and Powertrain supply chain controlling £1bn of annualised spend.
