J&S Day Services was established in 2016 by Julia Leadbetter and Suzanne Lucas. We were able to design the environment to meet the needs of clients with a Dementia related illness. J&S are also recognised as being Dementia friendly. We work alongside other professionals/ organisations to promote Dementia awareness... J&S provide a wide range of activities such as gardening, furniture renovation, cooking, jewellery making and games based activities plus activities to suit individuals needs. These aim to build on clients self esteem and worth, of which we recognise that these skills need to be regained due to Dementia. We provide a person centred approach promoting individuality, offering choice and maintaining dignity at all times... Our service offers a wide range of activities which enables individuals maintain their independence.
