80/20 SERVICE BUSINESS

I spent hours checking voicemail and email, trying to answer calls from the top of a ladder, driving all over town to give bids, did all the cleaning work myself, prepped invoices, did the bookkeeping (rather poorly),repaired equipment, tuned my own vehicle… the list goes on... Some things I am great at. Others I suck at. And usually, because I wasn't good at something, I spent way more time on that thing, trying to get it done... The best path for me is to focus on the things I am good at and enjoy, and do more of them, and eliminate the stuff that sucks.
