BASIN SCHOOL

The Basin School District is located in the rural historic mining town of Idaho City, Id approximately 45 minutes up the Ponderosa Scenic Highway from Boise, Id. The district includes daycare, preschool, Basin Elementary School, Idaho City Middle and High School, as well the Idaho Center for Outdoor Education... Our schools include Idaho City High School, Idaho City Middle School, and Basin Elementary. We teach 350 children in our district and employ 29 certified staff members and 26 classified personnel. Our goal is to prepare students to become great citizens and productive members of a global community. We are committed to our students and go the extra mile to help them attain academic, athletic and personal success.
