Andrew N. Bausch

Andrew N. Bausch, M.D. is a board-certified ophthalmologist in Allentown with over 30 years of experience in modern cataract surgery and 25 years in refractive surgery. He adopted sutureless small incision cataract surgery in 1990, premium intraocular lenses in 2005, and laser-assisted cataract surgery in 2013. Dr. Bausch has also performed Radial Keratotomy (RK) since 1990, Photorefractive Keratectomy (PRK) since 1996, and LASIK since 1998. Dr. Bausch received his bachelor's degree in chemistry from Muhlenberg College and his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania. After his internship at St. Mary's Hospital and Medical Center in San Francisco, Dr. Bausch completed an ophthalmology residency at The Scheie Eye Institute of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Dr. Bausch serves on staff at Valley Eye Surgical Center and Sacred Heart Hospital. He is also an active member of several professional societies including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Medical Association, and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. He has been in private practice since 1986. Dr. Andrew Bausch is the most experienced Refractive Cataract Surgeon in the Lehigh Valley area. Steven J. Kanoff MD is a board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist. He graduated from Temple University School of Medicine where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Dr. Kanoff completed his ophthalmology training at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. He has practiced comprehensive ophthalmology in Bethlehem, PA since 1989. Additionally, he has worked at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, PA from 2006-2017 where he was involved in patient care as well as teaching ophthalmology residents. While at Wills Eye Hospital, he received Golden Apple teaching awards. Dr. Kanoff is pleased to join Bausch Eye Associates and looks forward to helping patients with their eye care needs.
