Nirja is the Principal - of Nirja Mitekine & Associates Chartered Accountants She is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and commerce graduate from Osmania University Hyderabad. She is also a holder of the Diploma in Information System Audit, from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. She has previously worked with Grant Thornton and Large Consultancy Firms as well as in Industry. She has more than 25 years of experience includes advising clients on setting up the Accounting Finance & Commercial operations in India, compliant to the Tax and Regulatory environment. She has expertise in conceptualizing & implementing financial procedures, Compliance processes -Tax and Corporate Law, building internal financial controls, finalization of accounts and audits, Working Capital management, profit monitoring, cost optimisation, project controlling, tax compliance and, payroll structuring and management. As an advisor she has enabled Muti-national companies to set up processes aligned to their global work culture. She is also advising SME's on Financial Operations. She has worked with clients in diverse industries like Food and Beverages, Gems and Jewellery, Power, Tyres, Entertainment, Heavy Engineering etc.
