CLEAR PEAK FINANCIAL - Key Persons

Becky Selbee

Job Titles:
  • Administrative Assistant
  • Kim 's Administrative Assistant
Becky is Kim's administrative assistant, having joined the team in April 2008. Her responsibilities include managing the office workflow, setting appointments, and keeping our technology running smoothly. She was born and raised in El Paso, Texas; lived in Lubbock, Texas, for three years before moving to Albuquerque, New Mexico; and lived there for 18 years. She landed permanently in the Mother Lode in 1999 and now makes Cedar Ridge her home. Becky brings to the practice a long background in bookkeeping and accounting (and common sense!). She had been a real estate agent prior to joining the team. These experiences, as well as having put children through college, means she has first-hand awareness of today's economic issues and shares the same personal challenges as many of our clients. Becky is the past president and a long-standing member of the Tuolumne County Women's Network, a graduate of Leadership Tuolumne County, and serves on its executive board. She also serves as the president of the Professional Referral Organization of Sonora. Becky enjoys hiking, camping (actually "glamping" in her travel trailer), and reading. She loves spoiling the four grandchildren who live nearby. She and her husband, Dave, have six children who have all grown up and moved out, twelve grandchildren with another one on the way in November 2020, two great-grandchildren, a sweet sheltie dog named Sadie, and an aquarium full of beautiful fish. Becky's favorite thing to do, when not helping clients with their passwords, is to travel in their RV or on a plane, particularly enjoying the Wine Train in Napa and, of course, Disneyland.

Daniel Miller

Job Titles:
  • Administrative Assistant
  • Advisor Emeritus
After 25 years, Dan has now entered the next phase of life, retirement. During his time as an Advisor, Dan held the CRPC® certification, offering financial planning services to hundreds of clients and friends. Today, Kim leads the way for clients at Clear Peak Financial. The team of Kim, Kelley, and Becky are so dedicated in service that Dan can genuinely ease into his next adventures. As a large step in Dan's life planning, he and his wife, Sarah (his high-school sweetheart) moved to Texas full-time in 2019. Now residing on their secluded ranch, literally in the heart of Texas in the region known as Hill Country, he and Sarah are "living the dream" as the saying goes. Having helped hundreds of folks to retire, Dan finally gets to see how his next chapter in life unfolds. When not working on the ranch and the never-ending list of projects (fences, barns, coops, animals, cutting brush, being a good steward of the land), Dan pursues his study of history and economics, finds time for a dozen hobbies, enjoys adding to his BBQ "life list", and simply celebrating all things Texas. He remains committed to teaching financial literacy, volunteer service with Habitat for Humanity and the Sheriff's Emergency Response Team, and helping his community and neighbors to live life to its fullest.
