Briarna graduated with a Bachelor in Oral Health Therapy from the University of Melbourne in 2012. She has completed further studies in ZOOM in - chair whitening, Periodontal Therapy, Children's Dentistry and Orthodontics. Briarna focuses on holistic care and loves to share her knowledge on general and dental health so her patients can feel empowered to achieve their optimal oral health.
She has a special interest in treating gum disease, with over 10 years' experience in achieving successful results. Her other special interest is children's dentistry, being a mum herself she knows how to care for children of any age to ensure they have a positive, fun experience.
After a successful career working in metropolitan and regional Melbourne, her family decided to move Queensland and we are lucky to have Briarna join our team.
Some of the most memorable moments for her so far on the Sunshine Coast have been sunrise swims and hiking the with her son and husband.

Hi, my name is Carol and I am originally from Tasmania.
I moved to Queensland in 2002 with my two young children at the time.
I started working at CoastWide Smiles in 2008 and I really enjoy my work and meeting all the wonderful patients here. I work with an amazing, friendly team and this makes my days even more enjoyable.
Dr Craig Woolward completed his Bachelor of Dental Science (DBS) at the University of Witwatersrand in 1988 in Johannesburg where he purchased his own practice after graduating and remained until relocating to Auckland in 2005.
A move to Australia in 2014 took him to Melbourne where he worked worked in general dental practice until a sea change led him to the Sunshine Coast.
Craig is very passionate about dentistry and enjoys keeping up with the latest techniques and materials, regularly attending continuing professional development courses.
He has extensive experience in endodontics, tooth coloured fillings, and crowns.
Craig notes that it is important for patients to be aware of the different treatment options available to them, so that they are able to make an informed decision that is appropriate for them at that time. He is a firm believer in ‘prevention is better than cure' and feels it is always in the patient's best interest to treat conditions as early as possible.
Dr Murray Ploetz was born in Queensland and graduated from the University of Queensland 1983 in Dentistry.
Murray has worked in Australia, where he has had his own dental practices, and has also worked overseas, gaining valuable knowledge and skills in all areas of dentistry.
Murray has a special interest in both Cosmetic Dentistry and Oral surgery. He has done training with specialist oral surgeons and enhanced his oral surgery skills.
He also became a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and has attended courses in America and Australia over many years.
Surfing in Coolum in the 80's, Murray has been trying for years to get back to the Coast to live. Finally, this happened last year and he is now well and truly settled on the Sunshine Coast, a local and surfing again.

Hello, my name is Jayne and I have been a Front Office Coordinator here for the past 7 years and thoroughly enjoy being your first point of contact. Being on the Reception allows me to be patient focussed and a compassionate caregiver. I am an enthusiastic team player and driven to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
Originally from the UK, I feel very blessed to live on the Sunshine Coast with my husband and two young boys. I enjoy health and fitness and being the best person that I can be.

Peter joins Coastwide Smiles with a wealth of experience. He is an exceptionally experienced clinician, who has worked in rural NSW, Melbourne & and the Sunshine Coast with more than a decade worth of experience.
Peter have an extensive experience in non-surgical periodontal treatment, paediatric restorative treatment, orthodontics, emergency care and dental trauma management for children and adolescence.
Peter has been working on the Sunshine Coast since 2011, he graduated from one of the top ranked universities in the world (Otago University, New Zealand 2009).
Peter has advanced his academic study from Adelaide University through a postgraduate diploma to offer a broader range of dental care to adults. Peter is a dedicated clinician with commitment to maintaining good oral health for all patients.
