The Bureau of Land Management White River Field Office 1 funded Air Resource Specialists 2 to establish air quality sites in the White River Basin. This effort adds value to air quality monitoring efforts in the nearby Yampa River Basin (Dinosaur National Monument and Maybell) as well as air quality monitoring in the Uinta Basin in Utah. Air quality monitoring in the White River Basin allows for a better regional understanding of air quality needed for BLM to analyze air quality impacts in Northwestern Colorado 3.
