Prior to joining the CosmedicDerm team in 2002, Cathy spent an impressive 12 years working in the medical field. After obtaining a medical assistant degree from Metro Technical Institute in Royal Oak, she successfully completed a post-education internship at Prime Care Medical Facility in Detroit. Cathy has served as a trusted asset to the CosmedicDerm team. Her knowledge of patient care, products and procedures have contributed to the overall success of the practice. Cathy's noted specialties at CosmedicDerm are acne, laser hair removal, chemical peels, Clear + Brilliant applications, facials and microdermabrasion and Vibradermabrasion treatments.

Dr. Shauna Ryder Diggs is the respected and sought after founder of CosmedicDerm. Dr. Diggs is an American Board of Dermatology certified dermatologist, a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery. With more than fifteen years of experience, Dr. Diggs is a leading dermatologist specializing in cosmetic and laser dermatology.
Dr. Shauna Ryder Diggs is the respected and sought after founder of CosmedicDerm. Dr. Diggs is an American Board of Dermatology certified dermatologist, a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery. With more than 20 years of experience, Dr. Diggs is a leading dermatologist specializing in cosmetic and laser dermatology.
A graduate of the University of Michigan's distinguished Inteflex program, she completed an intensive and accelerated program of combined undergraduate and medical training in just seven years. Dr. Diggs also completed the University of Michigan Medical Center Internal Medicine internship and dermatology residency programs. A passionate scientist, she conducted extensive research on psoriasis and pluripotential cells and was published in the peer-reviewed, Journal of Investigative Dermatology.
With more than fifteen years of experience under her belt, Dr. Diggs is an expert in dermatology laser therapy. She served as the first-ever medical director of the Detroit Medical Center Advanced Laser Treatment Center and has guest lectured at both the University of Michigan Dental and Medical Schools as well as for the Detroit Medical Center/Wayne State University Medical School plastic surgery department and Advanced Laser Treatment Center.
In addition to providing patients best-in-class medical and cosmetic care, she is the creator of the CosmedicDerm Professional Skin Care line. She works closely with the Rhonda Walker Foundation through a program designed to educate teenage girls about skin health and hair care. Dr. Diggs serves on the board of directors of several area nonprofits including the Detroit Institute of Arts, Forgotten Harvest, Detroit Zoological Society and the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan Foundation.

Jackie has been a Physician Assistant since 2007. She earned a Bachelors of Science degree from Michigan State University and a Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Midwestern University. She is board certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. Jackie has a special interest in teenage and adult acne, eczema, warts, molluscum, acute rashes, anti-aging skin care and cosmetic dermatology.
Tracy Clarke earned her bachelor's degree in political science at Central Michigan University. Tracy, a Grosse Pointe native, joined CosmedicDerm as an administrative assistant over five years ago, after working on the paralegal team at Ford Motor Company.
