Ashley's passion for real estate stems from her family's long-standing history in the business. Her great-grandfather, Harry McPherson, was one of the first real estate brokers in The Bahamas in the early 1900s. Inspired by her real estate broker relatives-great-grandfather Harry McPherson, grandfather Lester Brown, and father Ian Brown-Ashley decided to sit the real estate exam immediately after graduating university in 2011. She went on to obtain her real estate broker's license at the age of 26, becoming the youngest realtor in The Bahamas to achieve the title. With a bachelor's degree in Architecture from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Ashley brings a wide range of knowledge into her real estate business including design, development, and sustainability. Ashley also holds an ASP home staging certification, giving her additional tools for preparing her client's listings so that they are presented to the market in the best possible light and, as a result, sell at their highest possible value. With Ashley's intimate knowledge of the real estate market, along with her dedication to serve each client's unique real estate needs, Ashley strives for excellence by making the process of buying and selling real estate enjoyable from start to finish.
Outside of real estate, Ashley is passionate about helping people in need. She started a local non-profit called Bahamas Disaster Housing Assistance with a group of women in response to Hurricane Dorian in September 2019. In the days and months immediately following this historical storm, The Bahamas Disaster Housing Assistance provided temporary, medium, and long-term housing assistance to hundreds of people who lost their homes. When she isn't selling real estate or participating in philanthropic pursuits, Ashley loves painting, traveling, and spending time on the boat island hopping.

With a background in client relationship management and private banking, Christina Cunningham is well-versed not only in working with a variety of clients from around the world, but also in breaking down complex information in a way that makes it easy to digest in order to guide her clients toward sound financial decisions. Born into a real estate family, Christina pursued the Entrepreneurial Stream at the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario, one of Canada's most prestigious business schools, where she graduated with honors. After eight years in private banking, Christina returned to her real estate roots, joining Damianos Sotheby's International Realty in August 2019 as an estate agent. She now utilizes the skills she developed in the private banking sector to assist her clients in making informed home buying and selling decisions-both financially and those that best capture their lifestyle. When not assisting her clients, Christina is raising two young daughters and enjoys tennis, fishing, swimming, diving, and boating. In his successful private practice, Christopher represented resort developers and high-net-worth home buyers and sellers, advising on investment regulatory framework, concessionary tax legislation, financing, land title, immigration and economic residency. As an estate agent, Christopher combines his legal knowledge and stellar negotiation skills with his impeccable track record of placing his clients' interests first. This, together with his extensive contacts and industry partners which span law, banking, insurance, surveying, construction and real estate support services,offers his clientsa comprehensive first point of contact, whether representing a buyer or a seller. In addition to his professional expertise, Christopher brings to his clients his love for architecture, an interest he inherited from his father who moved to The Bahamas with Sir Robert McAlpine Construction in 1959. A native of The Bahamas himself, Christopher lived in England for 15 years, and has travelled extensively throughout the world. In fact, following university, Christopher took part in a leg of an around-the-world yacht race which took him from South Africa to Western Australia, combining his love of the ocean with his passion for visiting far-flung destinations. When he's not working or traveling, Christopher enjoys being outdoors with his friends and family, taking full advantage of the year-round sunshine in The Bahamas, and island-hopping with his wife and daughter.
A self-described "Island Gal," Colleen Carey's passion for island living and knowledge of Bahamian culture allows her to expertly guide her clients toward the ideal home that fits their personal lifestyle, whether on Harbour Island or anywhere throughout The Bahamas. (Health Empowerment through Yoga). Tanya thoroughly enjoys her position in which she is responsible for the development and oversight of our accounting policies and procedures, implementation of internal accounting control guidelines, leadership to our accounting team, and corporate financial reporting.
Tanya's love for numbers and logic developed while working at a local landscape architecture firm. This passion prompted a 5 1/2 journey of studying and sitting exams, fighting & overcoming, eventually resulting in the accomplishment of her goals. While her studying has ensured a thorough understanding of accounting, her diverse life and work experiences also contribute to her role at Damianos Sotheby's International Realty.
These diverse life experiences have led Tanya to living in different parts of the world, and experiencing different cultures.
