Allie Hentrich is a Clinical Medical Assistant, Licensed Aesthetician and Patient Care Coordinator. She has been working in the beauty business most of her life. She grew up helping her mom own and operate a Salon and worked for M.A.C. Cosmetics as a makeup artist where she found her love of skin care. She has been a licensed Aesthetician for 5+ years. She is always looking to learn new treatments and help her clients find the best skin care plan for their lifestyle. She loves doing acne extractions, chemical peels and so much more. In her free time, she enjoys snuggling any animal she can convince to cuddle her, outdoor adventures and playing video games.
Anh Luu, MSPAS, MPH, PA-C is a certified Physician Assistant who graduated from Touro University with a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies and Masters in Public Health Studies. Anh completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California, San Diego, where she received a Bachelors of Science in Biology. Originally from San Diego, Anh enjoyed exploring the many beaches all over the world. Now settled in the Bay area, you can find her scaling the bouldering wall at a local rock climbing gym, hiking along the vast trails of Northern California, or just relaxing at a local eatery, sampling the latest and greatest offerings of various cuisines. She is a member of the California Academy of Physician Assistants, American Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. Anh looks forward to working with the California Dermatology Care staff to provide patients with quality comprehensive dermatological experience.
Annie Callahan, MSPAS, MPH, PA-C is a certified Physician Assistant. She is Assistant Clinical Director of the Women's Wellness Center at California Dermatology Care. Annie graduated from the joint Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies and Master of Public Health program at Touro University- California. With a Bachelor of Science degree from Saint Mary's College of California in Moraga, she's called the Bay Area home for almost 20 years. Originally from Mercer Island, WA, Annie enjoys spending free time outdoors. Practicing yoga, playing tennis, skiing and running are a few of her hobbies. She and her husband enjoy golfing and traveling, but mostly appreciate spending time together with their children.
She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, California Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. Annie completed an intensive externship training in dermatology by Dr. William Ting. Working closely with Dr. Ting, Annie looks forward to meeting your dermatology needs.
Argentina Leon, M.D. was born and raised in Latin America. Her hometown is Miami, Florida. She obtained her undergraduate and medical school degree at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine. It is no surprise that she completed her Dermatology residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. Dr. Leon is also trained in Family Medicine at Brown University/ Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island. With her unique background, her goal is to bridge the gap between dermatology and medicine. To her, skin disease is not "just a skin thing" but has an important aspect of a person's general health with implications for other major organ systems. Her area of interests includes dermatologic surgery, psoriasis/eczema, phototherapy, cosmetics, and clinical research trials.
She is most grateful for her mentors who have given her endless support and made a phenomenal impact in her career and life in general. She believes life is about making the most positive impact in other people's lives. She speaks Cantonese and Spanish. Some of her hobbies include gardening, traveling, and spending quality time with friends and families.
Carey Cano, MESS, MHS, PA-C is a certified physician assistant who graduated from the physician assistant program at the University of South Alabama. Originally from Charleston, South Carolina, she did her undergraduate & graduate studies at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, where she became a huge fan of all things Gator. She enjoys running and hiking with her 2 dogs, skiing in Lake Tahoe, and exploring the Bay Area with her husband. She has been practicing dermatology since moving to the Bay Area in 2007, and she is very excited to practice with Dr. Ting and have the ability to offer individualized solutions to each patient's concerns. Carey is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the California Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Connie Auer, LE is a Licensed Aesthetician and a Patient Coordinator. Connie has a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Oregon as well as being licensed by the California State Board of Barbering and Cosmetology. Connie has worked in both Plastic Surgery and Dermatology and has been in the industry since 2006. Connie provides patients with a complete understanding of the options available to help address their concerns. This is a second career for Connie, her background in retail management gives her the skills and ability to provide excellence in customer service. "I always knew that I wanted to be in the beauty business, now I have the opportunity and I am doing what I am most passionate about." In her free time, Connie enjoys travel, cooking and Zumba class. She is available to perform microdermabrasion, acne peels, make up consultation and other aesthetician procedures.
Danae Paradiso, RN is a licensed Registered Nurse. She graduated with honors from the Chabot College nursing program and is currently finishing her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing at California State University East Bay. Danae also has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from San Diego State University. Danae provides clinical support to Dr. Ting and has acquired experience in both therapeutic and aesthetic skin laser procedures. As your skincare advocate, she looks forward to helping you look and feel your best.
Ingrid Freeny, M.D. obtained her undergraduate and graduate degree in Pharmacy from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She attended medical school at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. Dr. Freeny completed her residency at Hahnemann University Hospital. She also completed a Psoriasis Fellowship at the University of Utah where she was the sub-investigator for cutting-edge research in both the genetics and treatment of psoriasis.
Dr. Ingrid Freeny is Board Certified in Dermatology, and she is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She has written articles on psoriasis, hair disorders and eczema. Her areas of special interest include skin cancer screening, acne, hair loss, psoriasis and cosmetic dermatology.

Dr. Ting published a peer-reviewed article that revealed that the differences in perceived importance and personal use of sun protection among primary care physicians are reflected in their clinical practice (published in February 2008 issue of the International Journal of Dermatology).
Flora Ting, N.P., R.N., M.S. is a certified Nurse Practitioner. She graduated from post-masters Nurse Practitioner Program at UCSF School of Nursing. She has had extensive clinical experience in neonatal pediatrics, allergy and immunology, adult and pediatric otolaryngology, dermatology, and cutaneous laser therapy. She was a Ph.D. candidate at UCSF School of Nursing, with emphasis in Nursing Informatics before pursuing a clinical career in Nurse Practitioner.
She is the Director of the Skin Laser Therapy and Surgery program at California Dermatology Care. She has both the expertise and extensive experience working with Spectra laser for pigmentation and tattoo removal, Elite MPX hair laser removal, IPL/photofacial laser for redness and sun damage reduction, leg vein laser and SonixLipo liposculpturing and cellulite reduction using Vaser Shape.
Irene Brandle, LE is a licensed Aesthetician and a Patient Coordinator for California Dermatology Care. She has over fifteen years of experience in the industry, and for someone who has a sensitive condition, she personally knows what it takes to attain healthy skin. Irene's passion drove her to further develop her skill sets, and she advanced her education by graduating from Los Medanos College and certified by reputable skincare companies. More recently, she had received a body rejuvenation certificate in Coolsculpting, May 2015.
Irene is very compassionate about each patient needs. She is proud to be one of the patient coordinators for aesthetic and cosmetic dermatology services while taking concern what's the best treatment plan that'll fit her patient concerns and goals.
Over the years, Irene has grown uniquely and successfully helped many people in the beauty and medical industry. When she's not at work Irene loves most outdoor activities and loves to spend time with her family, children and friends. Irene also enjoys a healthy lifestyle and recently discovered a new hobby in bodybuilding.
Jenny Ngo, PA-C is a physician assistant who graduated with a Master in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of California, Davis. She completed her undergraduate education at the University of California, Santa Cruz where she received a Bachelors of Science in Biology. Jenny grew up in San Francisco where she spends a lot of her free time exploring the area, trying new activities such as aerial silks, and finding new shows to watch. Jenny is passionate about medical dermatology and aesthetics and is looking forward to providing excellent care at California Dermatology Care.
Jessica Fan, MSPAS, MPH, PA-C is a certified Physician Assistant who graduated with a dual Masters of Physician Assistant Studies and Masters of Public Health from Touro University, California. Jessica completed her Bachelors of Science in Biological Science at the University of California, Irvine, where she was the co-founder and president of PACT, Physician Assistants Coming Together, the first pre-PA club at UC Irvine. She is from sunny San Diego, loves the beach, and never leaves the house without her SPF! In her free time, you will find her at the dog park with her puppies Chloe Bowie and Nutter Butter, exploring delicious eats with her boyfriend, and taking ballet barre classes. Jessica is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistant, California Academy of Physician Assistant, and Society of Dermatology Physician Assistant. She is passionate about combining the cutting edge of laser therapy, and medical modalities, to help patients achieve their skin goals.
Rachel Hua is a licensed Registered Nurse. She graduated with honors for her bachelor's degree at University of Michigan School of Nursing. She is currently working on her Master's degree at Samuel Merritt University's Family Nurse Practitioner program. Before dermatology, Rachel worked in an Intensive Care Unit in the South Bay Area. Now, she is excited to grow her nursing career in the dermatology and aesthetic field to help people boost their confidence and feel their best. During her free time, Rachel likes to play volleyball and tennis, do yoga, spend time with family, and travel.

Theresa Lao is a certified clinical medical assistant and a patient care coordinator. She studied at Gurnick Academy and Merritt College. She found her calling in dermatology, because her skin conditions help her empathize with her patients. She knows how daunting it can be physically and psychologically, and is committed to helping each patient achieve healthier skin. She tailors treatment plans according each patients needs and concerns, and helps them design an effective daily skin care routine to help them reach their skin goals. She has knowledge in medical and cosmetic dermatology, aesthetic skin laser procedures, skin rejuvenation, and body contouring. She is available to perform HydraFacial treatments, acne extractions, EMSCULPT, and is also a graduate of Coolsculpting University.
Theresa spends her free time with her family enjoying the outdoors. You can find her biking, hiking, swimming, or spending the day at the beach or park.
