A St. Louis native, Dr. Schmidt is board certified in Internal Medicine and board eligible in Gastroenterology. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri School of Medicine and completed his residency at Loyola University Medical Center. Dr. Schmidt completed his GI fellowship at St. Louis University Hospital.
Dr. Burns has been awarded Recognition by the National Committee for Quality and Assurance (NCQA) and the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association for patient care in heart disease and/or stroke. NCQA, in partnership with the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association, developed the Heart/Stroke Recognition Program to recognize clinicians who have met standards demonstrating delivery of high quality care to patients with cardiovascular disease and/or stroke.

Dr. Bialecki is board certified in Gastroenterology and enjoys working with clients on a wide range of abdominal and intestinal diseases. He is a skilled endoscopist with expertise in colon cancer prevention and endoscopy. Dr. Bialecki has extra years of specialty training in diseases of the liver and pancreas and is proficient in ERCP.
Dr. Bialecki is a St. Louis native who was thrilled to return to the area for his Gastroenterology training. He is married and has 4 children. Dr. Bialecki's favorite local sport team is the St. Louis Blues.

Dr. Hsu is an internal medicine physician with a particular interest in preventive health. He previously served as the chief resident of the internal medicine residency program at St. John's Mercy before joining Esse Health in 2012. He received the B.K. Werner Scholars Award for Outstanding Academic Performance by an Internal Medicine Resident, 2010-2011. Hsu is originally from Santa Clarita, Calif., before coming to the Midwest for medical school at St. Louis University.
Dr. Hsu has been selected by his peers for inclusion in Best Doctors in America ® from 2015 to 2020 and is a memeber of the Esse Health Board of Directors.
