Dr. Stastny is originally from upstate New York. In 1993, she graduated from Mississippi State College of Veterinary Medicine, moved to Frederick and joined our clinic. Dr. Barb volunteers at the Alan P. Linton homeless shelter, Community Living and the Frederick County Animal Control Center and is a member of the Zonta Club of Frederick. She enjoys working with wildlife and is a member of the Maryland Wildlife Rehabilitators Association. Dr. Barb enjoys hiking and square dancing. She shares her home with two cats, Denali and Lucy, and dog, Maci.

Dr. Yau grew up in Towson, MD. She earned a BA in Biology from Tufts University in 2000 and her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. Her interests include playing piano and traveling both within the U.S. as well as to other countries. Dr. Emily lives in Frederick and has three cats: Tut, Oscar, and Bitty.

Dr. Hasslinger grew up in Frostburg, MD, and graduated from Frostburg State University in 2015. She graduated from Purdu University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2019. Her interests include hiking, horseback riding, and playing piano. She lives in Frederick with her dog, Denver.

Dr. Arthur grew up in rural York County, PA. She graduated with a BS in Animal Science from Delaware Valley College, Doylestown, PA. In 1998, she graduated from North Carolina State University, College of Veterinary Medicine. In the fall of that year, she joined our staff. Dr. Becky currently lives in Frederick with her cats, Tango and Wally.
