FSTC - Key Persons
Started his career as an Indian Air Force Fighter pilot in 1969 and took premature retirement in 1994.
Joined commercial flying in 1994 as a line pilot on B737 with Modiluft Airline. Subsequently flew for Taneja Aerospace, Sahara Airlines and Jetlite Ltd. Capt. Yadav has a total flying experience of over 18000 hrs and retired as a DGCA check pilot from Jetlite Ltd. He joined FSTC as an SFI On B737 in 2013. He has over 8000 instructional hrs.
Capt. D. S Basraon is an ex - Air Force Pilot and a qualified pilot on A330 and A320 fleet type. Prior of starting his entrepreneur journey, he has served as a senior commander with Kingfisher Airlines and Vistara. His motto is to transform India into a major pilot training hub to be recognized at a global level. In his own words - "Establishing state of the art ATO facility in India, matching global training standards is my dream. We should be self-sufficient in our training capabilities that the rest of the world could look up to us for their aviation training needs. We intend to offer training to International pilots too, and hope to make them our global brand ambassadors." He has been the guiding light for FSTC for all these past years to ensure its further growth and sustenance.
Capt. Gupta is a Science Graduate who started his career as a pilot with Jet Airways in 2005. Capt. Gupta took premature retirement in the year 2017 and his last position was a Senior Commander on B737 with Jet Airways.
Capt. Gupta has approx. 7000 hrs of flying experience. He has joined FSTC as an SFI on B737 in the year 2017

- Deputy Head of Training ( DGCA )
Started aviation career in the Indian Air Force. After 1971 operations joined Air India on deputation and did the first rating on B-707. Subsequently was rated on A-300, B-743 and B-744. Also he was TRI/TRE on all the mentioned aircrafts. He also rose to the rank of General Manager Flight Ops in Air India. In 1998, he joined Singapore Airlines and was rated on B-777. He was appointed as Line Instructor on B-777 in SIA. After retirement from line flying, he was appointed SFI on B-777 and trained for 11 years. Now appointed Chief Instructor in FSTC and SFI on B-737.
Capt. M Bhandari SFI (A320) Served in the flying branch of Indian Air Force till 2007. Thereafter, joined commercial flying and spent 5 yrs with Air India Express. Subsequently joined SpiceJet in 2012 as a Line Captain and flew till retirement (2016). Capt. Bhandari has a total of 9000 hrs of flying experience. Has an Incident/Accident free Flight Safety Record. Joined FSTC in 2016 as SFI on B737.
Before joining FSTC, Mr. Srinivasan has foundedXponentia. He has also served as India Region Head and Managing Director of Citigroup Venture Capital International ("CVCI"). He was also a member of the CVCI team which raised two global emerging market funds - USD 1.5 billion in 2005 and USD 4.3 billion in 2007. Before CVCI, he was one of the founders of HSBC Private Equity in India, which raised a USD 60 million fund in 1995. Over his investment career, he has led and been involved in numerous deals with an aggregate invested capital in excess of USD 700 million. Mr. Srinivasan holds a bachelor's degree from College of Engineering, Guindy, Chennai and obtained a post-graduate diploma in Business Management from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.
