Alexios Pelekis

Alexis Pelekis was born in Athens Greece in 1964. He has been a member of the Athens Bar Association since 1989 and has been entitled to litigate before the Supreme Court since 1999. Today he is the Managing Partner of Pelekis Law Firm, initially founded by his father Dionysios Pelekis, in 1963.

Andreas Matsas

Andreas Matsas holds an MSc in International Securities, Investments and Banking from the University of Reading, ICMA Centre UK, a Bachelors' Degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Essex, and an LLB Law from the University of London. He holds the Advanced Certificate of Professional Competence issued by the Cyprus Securities & Exchange Commission and the Certificate of the American Institute of Banking. He is also a Member of the Cyprus Bar Association. Andreas has 11 years of banking experience with Societe Generale Cyprus as a Corporate Relationship Officer in the Corporate Finance Department and as an Account Manager in Private Banking and International Business Banking with Eurobank Cyprus. Over the last 4 years, he has been involved in the financial services sector and has served as a member of the Board of Directors of Cyprus Investments Firms (CIFs) and Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs), regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) as Executive and Non-Executive Director. Andreas was appointed to GMM's Board of Directors, as an Executive Director (4-eyes) in March of 2019. He holds the position of Portfolio Manager and he is responsible for the management of funds following real estate and private equity strategies.

George Chatzidimitriou

George has been a Private Equity/Venture Capital (PE/VC) professional since 2000, having started his career as an entrepreneur in 1990. He is a Portfolio Manager focusing in PE/VC and he is also the owner of a licensed ASP offering services to funds and High Net Worth Individuals. Previously, he was the Co-Managing Director of an AIFM for four years, having started off as a Founding Partner. George has also worked as a Partner of a Swiss Multi-Family office where he supported the group in Private Equity. He started his PE/VC career with a 250 million Euro fund, where he worked for 10 years as a Senior Investment Manager and later on as an Executive Director of the fund. Throughout his career, George has actively managed investments of over 500 million euros cumulatively in both technology and traditional economy companies, spanning across countries from Eastern Europe to the West Coast of the United States and achieving significant returns for investors. He has also been an active investor in Shipping since 2011. George holds an MBA from INSEAD, France, an MSc by Research in Enterprise Modelling from UMIST, UK and a Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from the University of Patras, Greece.

Maria Panayiotou

Mrs. Panagiotou holds an MSc in Finance (University of Cyprus) and a BSc in Economics (University of Cyprus). She has passed the Advanced Examination on Financial Services Legal Framework with the Cyprus Securities & Exchange Commission s. In the past, she was the Head of Administration at LLPO Law Firm, with 14 years of experience in the fields of Company Registration and Administration under various professional sectors and industries. She also served as the AML Officer at LLPO Law Firm from 2016 onwards, and previously served as the Compliance Officer's Assistant at LLPO Law Firm.

Marieta Peratikas

Marieta was born in Nicosia in 1995. She is a qualified Lawyer in Cyprus and has been a member of the Cyprus Bar Association since 2019. She is a holder of LLB Law from the European University of Cyprus. In 2018, she joined LLPO Law Firm where she completed her pupilage. During her pupilage with LLPO Marieta gained valuable experience in drafting court pleadings, including affidavits, statement of claims and defence statements in many areas of the law including Criminal Law, Administration of Estates and Corporate Litigation. She officially joined LLPO in 2019. Since then, she has been heavily involved in all aspects of insolvency including bankruptcy, company voluntary arrangements, administrations and liquidations. She is engaged with the drafting and reviewing of various corporate agreements and providing legal assistance on corporate law matters. Marieta acts for corporates, funds, office holders, directors and other stakeholders. She is engaged with the registration and authorisation of Alternative Investment Funds, legal advising on matters related to Alternative Investment Funds and Alternative Investment Fund Managers. She is fluent in Greek, English and retains a good knowledge of the French language.

Mr. Nikos Kaltsogiannis

Mr. Nikos Kaltsogiannis (born in 1967) is a portfolio manager and securities analyst certified by the Hellenic Capital Market Commission. He has also passed the Advanced Examination on Financial Services Legal Framework from the Cyprus Securities & Exchange Commission. He holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Piraeus and a Masters in International Securities, Investment & Banking from the ICMA Centre of Education - Henley Business School - University of Reading. Between January 2007 and December 2014 he held the position of Executive Director and member of the Board of Directors of Solidus Securities Investment Firm. In the past he was an executive at leading companies in the financial sector such as the Omega Bank Group, the Alpha Bank Group, Interinvest Portfolio Management and others. He is a member of the Economic Chamber of Greece, the ICMA Educational Committee, the Asset Management & Investment Council of ICMA and Chairman of the Regional Committee of ICMA for Greece, Cyprus, Turkey and the Balkans. At GMM he is in charge of the UCITS - AIF Management Department, a Member of the Investment Committee as well as Executive Director on the Company's Board of Directors. Nikos was appointed Chairman of the Investment Committee in March of 2019.

Panos Kanellopoulos

Panos Kanellopoulos is a seasoned investment and finance professional with a 25-yr track record in investment banking, private equity, business development, financial and risk management. He has worked in various renowned financial institutions in Europe including UBS, EFG Group and others. During his career he has completed numerous M&A and private equity transactions in excess of 350 million euros, and has managed high growth companies in a wide array of sectors and markets, including Romania, Serbia, Greece, Turkey, Cyprus and Egypt. Mr. Kanellopoulos holds a Diploma in Chemical Engineering with distinction from the National Technical University of Athens, a Masters in Chemical Engineering from Tufts University in Massachusetts, and has earned an MBA in Finance and Strategy from INSEAD, Fontainebleau. He also holds the advanced CySEC qualification for financial markets. Panos was appointed to GMM's Board of Directors in May of 2020.
