Growing up, Jason was captivated by stories of his grandparents' money-saving and investment strategies. Despite being a single-income, blue-collar family, and immigrants from Poland, they did not solely rely on social security for income after retirement. At that moment, Jason decided two things: first, he wanted to make sure he did that for his family when he grew up, and second, because of his love for helping people, he wanted to do that for others.
Fast forward twenty years, he now possesses extensive finance and accounting experience, which enables him to help organizations of all sizes optimize their cash flow and create financial plans that can lead to independent living, just like his grandparents. One of his most significant career accomplishments was assisting a manufacturing company in opening its doors by overseeing all financial processes and handling $20 million in assets.
Moreover, he has devised innovative cash flow forecasting models, providing companies with a 12-month cash flow outlook, and introduced Value-Added Revenue models to help businesses compare revenue generation with their quoted costs. He has also been a guest speaker several times at a mastermind group for manufacturing owners and served on the Conyers-Rockdale Chamber Board of Governors.
In addition to his professional achievements, he has chaired an organization that focuses on networking and professional development for young professionals and is an executive board member of various non-profit groups.

Michael is responsible for assisting clients with the student loan repayment process. Acting as a helpful point of contact, he eliminates the back and forth that can take place between multiple loan entities and saves the client time, money, and energy on this oftentimes difficult and confusing task.
Shelby Buck joins Huskey Financial in 2022, and has grown in her interests in building client relationships, delivering impeccable service, and her small business around graphic design and merchandise. She is closely involved in financial meetings, providing updates, scheduling, and assisting with client service needs. She enjoys being outdoors and fishing!

I am a native Carolinian, being born outside of Charlotte and growing up in Greenville, SC. I decided to call Charleston my home after graduating from the College of Charleston. I have been in the financial field my entire career, spending the first 9 years in banking in various leadership roles, most notably as a Private Banker. I helped banking clients with larger assets navigate more complex financial issues and investing. I have been a practicing financial advisor for the past two years, specializing in educating physicians and medical business owners to discover financial freedom as they define it.
I am married to my loving wife, Brittany, and have two beautiful daughters, Harper and Emerson, with one more child on the way. My passions outside of work involve sports, Carolina Panthers and UNC Tar Heels, as well as running long-distances and golf.
