Adam Watson - CCO

Adam is a Partner with Hanold Associates where he focuses on recruiting top HR and marketing leadership talent for world-class organizations. He specializes in marketing and employee communications searches and has a passion for building company cultures that are transparent, productive and safe for all team members. He brings to Hanold more than a decade of marketing and communications experience across multiple high-growth technology companies, including three different unicorns based in the Silicon Slopes. Prior to Hanold, Adam served as Director of Communications for InMoment, a B2B tech company in the customer and employee experience space. There, he collaborated with a variety of international clients and executives on strategic internal and external communications. Adam earned his Master of Business Administration from the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University as well as his Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Brigham Young University. Adam is based in Salt Lake City and enjoys hiking, running, drawing and above all, spending time with his wife and five children. All five are boys under 10 years old, so he comes to work to take a break.

Ashley Schiele

Ashley is a Partner with Hanold Associates and Head of Client Service. In this newly created role, she leads and executes client search assignments and is responsible for the organizational effectiveness and strategic initiatives for the Firm. Before joining Hanold Associates, Ashley worked for a boutique technical recruiting firm based in Chicago. In this role, she was a full life-cycle recruiter, developing and maintaining long-term relationships with candidates and clients across industries and functions including, HR, manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, technology, sales and marketing. Ashley graduated with honors from the Adler School of Professional Psychology with a Master of Science in Organizational and Counseling Psychology. She earned a Bachelor of Science in English and Psychology from Michigan State University and studied abroad in England, Ireland and Australia. Ashley and her family live in Evanston, she is from Michigan, and her heart will always be in Chicago. In her spare time, Ashley loves baking, reading and spending quality time with her family.

Breanne Sharos

Breanne is the Administrative Assistant and Recruiting Coordinator at Hanold Associates and is responsible for internal and candidate scheduling and assisting the operations manager and recruiting team. Prior to working at Hanold Associates, Breanne was the store manager of Splendid in Westfield Old Orchard in Chicago's Northshore. In this role, Breanne focused on strengthening her organizational, communication and leadership skills. She managed ten associates and actively recruited to grow her team as well as those of surrounding stores. While at Splendid, Breanne worked closely with her director to streamline and expedite operational processes and developed weekly reports for their corporate partners. Prior to Splendid, Breanne spent 3 years as the store manager at Evereve in downtown Evanston. She is thrilled to be back in the neighborhood working at Hanold Associates!

Carol Blankenship

Carol is the operations manager at Hanold Associates responsible for all financials, staff/team metrics, vendor interactions, contract management, onboarding and various operational needs for a busy, growing firm. Before joining Hanold Associates, she was the office administrator for Intuitive Web Solutions, a software development firm based in Springfield, Missouri. Carol's freelance copywriting experience and varied organizational and administrative background provide the skills and flexibility necessary for her current position covering the wide-ranging demands of the executive search office and staff. Carol earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Central Missouri, graduating summa cum laude with majors in general management and French. She enjoys fitness, writing, travel, outdoor activities, volunteer work and spending time with her adult children and son-in-law.

Deb Petritsch

Deb is a special projects manager at Hanold Associates. She will focus on social media, communications, events and technology. Before joining Hanold Associates, Deb worked at McKinsey & Company progressing through various administrative, IT and then logistical positions. For the last 15 years, she managed the distribution of their flagship publication, McKinsey Quarterly, to over 38K clients and business contacts in addition to overseeing delivery of many other firm business publications. She also supervised customer service for their website and governed copyright related requests for repurposing McKinsey knowledge and content. Deb earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with an emphasis in math and language arts from Northern Illinois University and is currently working towards Project Management certification. Deb stays busy performing in the Chicago area with her band, Front Burner. She also enjoys traveling, reading, doing puzzles and outdoor activities.

Eleanor Tetreault

Prior to joining Hanold Associates, Eleanor worked as an Admissions Fellow at Kenyon College where she interviewed and assessed prospective students, presented at information sessions and organized visit days and events. Eleanor graduated from Kenyon College with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Anthropology. While at Kenyon, Eleanor was the captain of the women's Cross Country and Track and Field teams and won the Rookie of the Year Award her freshman year in the NCAC after placing second in the Cross Country Conference Championships. Eleanor is originally from Portland, Oregon, and in her free time loves to run, bake and explore the different neighborhoods of Chicago.

Ivy Arlia

Ivy graduated from Northwestern University where she earned her Master of Science in management studies from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management and her Bachelor of Arts in learning and organizational change. While at Northwestern, Ivy played defense with the Northwestern Wildcats women's lacrosse team and was an Academic All-Big Ten honoree in 2017, 2018 and 2019 as well as a critical player for the Big 10 Championship victory in 2019. Before launching Hanold Associates, Jason was a Managing Director with Russell Reynolds Associates where he was the firm's Global Human Resources Officer Practice Leader and a member of the Board of Directors and CEO Practices. Prior to Russell Reynolds Associates, Jason led the Global Talent Acquisition for Whirlpool Corporation. Preceding Whirlpool, he was the Head of Recruiting with McKinsey & Company charged with direct-elect partner hiring and based in the firm-wide headquarters in New York. Prior to McKinsey & Company, he was the Americas Director of Global Leadership Recruiting at Deloitte. He started his career with State Farm Insurance companies in claims operations, progressing into broader human resources leadership roles. While currently pursuing his doctoral degree at the University of Pennsylvania, Jason earned a Master of Science degree from Northwestern University in 2010, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Illinois State University in 1990. Jason is on the Leadership Council of Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights and serves on the National Advisory Council for Big City Mountaineers where he was a two-term board member and Chairman of the Nominating and Governance Committee. He serves the United States Olympic Committee as a Team USA Athlete Mentor. Jason is a lifetime member of the United States Polo Association, Sierra Club and the Association of Talent Acquisition Professionals, and a member of the SAG- AFTRA union and the NAACP. Jason is co-located in Kenilworth, Illinois and Jackson, Wyoming, and married to Neela Seenandan. Neela and Jason co-founded Hanold Associates in 2010. They have four sons ranging in ages from 28 to 12 years old. He enjoys mountaineering, outdoor exploration, and team sports, especially football.

Jewel Lo

Jewel is a Recruiting and Social Media Coordinator at Hanold Associates and assists the recruiting team with internal and candidate scheduling while creating and managing content for Hanold Associates' social media platforms. Prior to joining Hanold Associates, Jewel attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication, graduating with honors. During her undergraduate work, she served as the President, Vice President and Freshmen Representative of the Asian Student Union (ASU) and the Communications Chair for the Midwest Asian American Student Union (MAASU). In addition, she worked as an advocate for the Lawton Scholar Program and conducted research in the Communication's department at UWM. Jewel is originally from Appleton, Wisconsin, and lives in Chicago. She enjoys boba and going on food adventures and her favorite activities are watching movies and crocheting.

Jordan Blackmon

She brings years of experience in building long-lasting, trusting relationships and developing innovative recruiting strategies and programs. Prior to joining Hanold Associates, Jordan was a Senior Recruiter at McKinsey & Company. In this role, she was a full life-cycle recruiter focused on hiring Associates and Summer Interns from top universities and graduate schools for McKinsey's locations globally. Most recently, she led all hiring efforts at Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management where she developed the recruiting strategy and managed McKinsey's presence on-campus to attract and hire top talent. Jordan graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology. While at Auburn, she was a Research Assistant in the Suicidal Behavior and Psychopathology Lab where she worked on the study "Assessment of Stressful Life Events and Mental Health Outcomes." Jordan lives in Chicago and enjoys traveling, live music, antiquing, baking and spending time with her dog and husband.

Katrina Maione

Stemming from his success recruiting mid-cap company human resources officers during his 9+ year tenure with the firm, Kile has developed sub-functional expertise around the recruitment of Total Rewards (executive and broad-based compensation, benefits, technology) and Talent Management and HR Operations leaders. He's served public, private and private equity clients with a recent sample client list including Kellogg's, Alight, Quest Diagnostics, Cummins, Raymond James, Ferguson, DaVita Kidney Care, Newell Brands, CDK Global, JCFS, Moderna, Affinitiv, Myers Industries, Harris Associates and Riddell. Prior to joining Hanold Associates, Kile was with Federal Program Management (FPM), a consulting firm that specializes in federal government contracts. Some of his clients included BlueScope Steel of Australia, Deere & Company, Siemens of Germany and Saab Barracuda. Prior to joining FPM, Kile was the Director of Operations for 1iota Productions in Los Angeles. Kile progressed into a leadership role with the firm where he gained extensive experience in the assessment, recruitment and development of team members. Lisa Butkus

She specializes in recruiting executive level HR leaders across industries, with a core focus on fashion, luxury brands, retail merchandise and the broader Consumer industry. Prior to joining Hanold Associates, Lisa was a search consultant with a global executive search and staffing firm based in Chicago. She received a Chairman's Club award in 2018 and was ranked #3 internationally for her division. Previously, Lisa spent six years in luxury retail. As a buyer out of MaxMara's New York office, she oversaw the North American business for Bloomingdale's and Holt Renfrow stores. She spent time in MaxMara's Italian headquarters in Reggio Emilia with the in-house design team to determine merchandising needs for the North American market. Following that, Lisa was a buyer for ikram LLC. She attended Paris and New York Fashion Week curating the assortment from luxury brands such as Chanel, Valentino, Gucci and other international fashion brands. Lisa graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington with a bachelor's degree in Apparel Merchandising. She studied abroad in London, England. Lisa lives in Chicago and continues to do wardrobe styling as a personal interest.

Mayank Parikh

He first joined the firm as a summer intern and returned full-time after graduating from Northwestern University. Prior to joining Hanold Associates, Mayank interned for Mission Measurement, a consulting firm that specializes in advisory for non-profits and corporate social responsibility departments at major companies. Before that, he was a research fellow for the Institute for Policy Research where he worked on one of the world's premiere early childhood education studies. Mayank earned his Bachelor of Science in Social Policy from the School of Education and Social Policy at Northwestern University. While at Northwestern, he was a recipient of the Knapp Fellowship, was the senior vice president of energy for the Investment Management Group and was a co-founder of GiveForward. Meg Magurany

Neela Seenandan

Neela provides interim executive advisory services in senior-level HR roles, serving clients such as the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Madison Dearborn and The New York Times. She joined the firm from Nielsen, where she served as SVP of Human Resources for North America Consumer. Neela was responsible for driving the strategic talent agenda, including recruiting, compensation, talent management and Diversity & Inclusion. Prior to Nielsen, Neela had a progressive career within Aon Corporation. Upon joining in 2006, she served as its VP of Executive Talent Acquisition and Development. In 2007, she became VP, Global Head of Human Resources for Aon Re Global. After the acquisition of Benfield in 2008, Neela ran the global HR integration of the newly formed Aon Benfield. Neela was also asked to lead the HR integration of Aon and Hewitt Associates and become the Global Head of Human Resources for the integrated business, Aon Hewitt. Prior to Aon, Neela joined McKinsey & Company where she ran recruiting and professional development for North America and the business technology office. Before joining Hanold Associates, Sonia was a Senior HR & Operations Administrator for Axxiome Group, a financial services IT consulting firm based out of Europe. In this role, she was responsible for all immigration cases for consultants working in North America and streamlining the operational process for finance and reporting. Previously, Sonia worked at Northwestern Medicine in the Philanthropy office. As the primary relationship manager for various boards and advisory councils, she was responsible for planning and executing fundraising initiatives across several clinical lines. Prior to Northwestern, Sonia worked in the UK in various roles for the Hong Kong Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC). As an HR Communication lead she executed cross cultural HR communications strategies across multiple global offices with a particular focus on employee engagement and senior leadership initiatives. Sonia then moved into an HR Business Analyst role focusing on resourcing and building partnerships between business and IT. Sonia graduated from the University of Waterloo, Canada with an honors Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and International Development. Val Lopez

She has over a decade of experience in rapid-growth, private equity-backed SaaS businesses, specializing in M&A integrations and change management. She is especially strong in translating strategy to action, particularly with respect to managing change initiatives and designing and implementing DEI programs. Prior to joining Hanold Associates, Val was Global Head of Employee Engagement & Inclusion/VP of DEI at Cision, where she stood up Cision's first DEI function. She was responsible for providing vision and leadership to Cision's DEI strategy across the global organization. Val is a seasoned guest speaker in the DEI space and has had the pleasure of speaking on a variety of panels and fireside chats. In 2019, she was recognized with a Power50 award by the Illinois Diversity Council. Val graduated from Indiana University Bloomington with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism and Gender Studies.
